ABSOLUTELY THE BEST IN THE AREA❤️💝👍🏽👏🏽!Amazing trip. This is our 2nd stay at Shepards Beach Resort, and I’m SURE we will return and Encourage others. Kia at the front desk checked us in, kind, friendly, patient, polite helpful re fun spots and fine dinning, as it was my 69th BD and our 49th Anniversary, she was courteous knowledgeable and SOOO MUCH MORE. Our rooms are just what we asked for. We were pre-warned that ALL the Pool view rooms with Balcony would be “Music” noises till late at night. That was OK with us! If you want a “Noise Free No Music No Pool Laughter etc you should make that clear at time of booking. It tells you this even on the Website. We wanted ALL THE PARTY ATMOSPHERE! The food from the Bar/Cove Kitchen Grill was Great JUST as was the Service. David our On Beach attendant was SPECTACULAR again kind, patient and efficient. Keep was definitely on task and still pleasant. And it was HOT! But David never complained. We stayed here in Dec 2023 it was COLD! But the Bar remained Open and the Musicians still played! The used hand warmers off n on to help with playing their instruments. They delivered requests too! This time 2026 each night was a different band C ountry Western he had kinda a jazzy background though and was humorous, tied some Motown in LOL! One night was Latin and …… The pool towel guys were attentive, they had a varied selection of emergency Sunscreen lotions and sprays and were definitely delightful. I watched from our balcony the pool cleaning crew and beach loungers being clean Every Day! With care! I can’t find anything to complain about. We requested extra towels bc we showered c times per day and the sand was had to wash away. No problem with getting Extra bathrooms supplies, even though the don’t change the bed sheets every day unless you specifically requested such! ECO FRIENDLY! Most ppl don’t change the sheets at their house every day anyway. So wash b4 bed if you’re all Sand ladened! Also use the pool side showers! They had also nicely decorated while we were there for the upcoming Memorial Day Holiday. Looked like it was going to be fun. We left on the Thursday b4 but we still had use of the pool toy n enjoyed the Deco! We WILL RETURN THANKS SHEPHERDS BEACH RESORT!

We just returned from 4 nights at Shephard's Beach Resort. We have a mixed review. Check-in went very smoothly and the staff was pleasant. The pool and pool area are very nice and a good size. Again, the staff at the pool and the bar area were very pleasant. The food at the outside bar, is very good and just want you'd want in that atmosphere. We have to say the fish taco are excellent. Our mixed review comes from the room and mostly the bathroom. First, we did not get the view I had made the reservation for. The view from our balcony is tops for us and at any cost. We immediately asked for a new room, but were told they were completely booked and didn't have anything else to offer us. The room itself was very spacious. The bathroom not so much. It was by far the smallest bathroom we have seen. The vanity was so small you couldn't leave out your toiletries. The tile in the shower was so slippery I had to put down a towel. And don't even get me going about the toilet! It has not been updated to a higher toilet and if, like myself you've had some surgeries, you can barely get on and off. I have some medical issues, but there are people far worse off then me and for that reason I never request a handicap accessible room. Our last con was in the bath towel. I opened it up and it looked like someone's makeup all over the towel. Not a pleasant thing. Would we stay at Shephard's again, yes. However, we would be 100 % sure we got the room with the view we paid for and we would have to request a handicap accessible room.
