As always, my stay was wonderful. I’ve been attending scrapbooking events held by Vero Scrapbook Crops and Events 4 times a year for the last 8 or 9 years. Love the newly renovated rooms, so clean, very soothing colors/decor, super comfy bed. The front desk staff is very helpful, friendly and very attentive to our needs to ensure a pleasurable stay. The hotel offers free breakfast and has a wide variety and yummy food choices. The housekeeping staff is managed by Noris who always checks on us to ascertain that we have all we need for a comfy stay. The event is held in the Conference room which is very spacious and is annexed to the hotel, offers great lighting so needed for us scrapbookers, as well as awesome A/C (very important for us ladies). The kitchen staff are very nice and always willing to take into account special food requirement; the food is fresh, tasty and well priced. Will keep going back and highly recommend

I pride myself on being a fair and unbiased reviewer. As a Platinum Member, I try to give the good (pros), the bad (cons) and what needs to be improved upon. This hotel is no different. PROS: Parking lot is huge, well lit and reasonably safe. There are cameras everywhere (outside and inside) which makes me feel safe (not sure if they work or not though). As you walk into the entrance, it’s open and free from debris. The staff is very nice and professional to include the breakfast team. Rooms r spacious and the beds r very comfortable. HUUUGE TV as well. Notes: Gym under renovation (understandable) and the only DRYER in the building for customer use is BROKEN. I asked the front desk about it. They said it could be weeks because that area is under construction (no construction at all by the laundry room 🙄). CONS: My main grip, if any really is the quality of the hotel on the inside - the little things that should not be happening, the attention to detail that is being overlooked or sidestepped. From the door handle quality, the missing paint, gaps in seals, loose shower heads and more. Pics will explain in detail. To the owner: I have seen this before where hotels are not attended to, and then they get sold off and they change the name, then it becomes a lower brand hotel. It does not have to be like this. Honestly, I feel like I’m in a Motel 6 Plus (no such name I’m just being facetious). To the IHG Brand: YOUR NAME is on this hotel, your brand name is being blasted on every hotel site that is able to rent rooms. I stayed at this hotel because of the Holiday Inn Express and Suites name. Now that I’ve been here I will not stay again..

The front desk clerk in the evening, Connor, was amazing. He was so friendly and helpful and even came up to our room because we could not get our shower door open. The front desk clerk in the evening, Connor, was amazing. He was so friendly and helpful and even came up to our room because we could not get our shower door open. It was stuck closed and we could not use it. He finally managed to get it open and put in a work order. To our knowledge, though, no one ever came up to fix it because it would not open from a closed position. We had to leave it open a few inches to take a shower and then just mop up the water on the floor. Additionally, we were very impressed by the kindness of the breakfast hostess. We observed her a couple mornings taking care of a homeless man who comes in for breakfast. She fixed up a big plate of food for him and was so kind to him. The hotel was very clean and our room was simple but very clean and nice. It would be helpful to have towel racks in the bathroom to hang up our wet towels. I would definitely stay here again.
