I’ve been staying at TownePlace Suites Fort Lauderdale West since the middle of March, and I truly couldn’t be happier with my experience. There is something especially nice about staying in a recently renovated property, and this hotel feels fresh, welcoming, and exceptionally well cared for from top to bottom. What makes this place stand out even more is the staff. It’s a smaller team, which makes the experience feel far more personal and special—almost like being part of an extended family. Sahira, the General Manager, is incredibly accommodating, friendly, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome. James, who heads engineering and maintenance, is clearly multi-talented and quick to handle anything that comes up. The entire front desk staff has been consistently warm, helpful, and eager to do whatever they can to make each stay better, and the housekeeping team does an outstanding job and never misses a beat. The rooms are amazingly clean, and they are set up so well for a longer stay. The full kitchen is a huge advantage and really makes a difference, especially because it includes not just a full refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave, but also an actual full oven and broiler. That is a rare and very valuable feature. The bathrooms are convenient, the water gets extremely hot, and everything feels comfortable and practical for everyday living. The hotel amenities add even more value. The outdoor grills are wonderful, the free parking is a big plus, and the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. I also really appreciate that there are direct wired internet connections available, which is a great feature for anyone who needs a more stable connection for work or streaming. Breakfast has also been a highlight. The buffet offers a great assortment of hot and cold items, including a waffle maker, and there is a very good selection of toppings for the oatmeal as well as different yogurt options. It’s a thoughtful, generous setup that makes mornings easy and enjoyable. All around, this hotel delivers excellent value for the price. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium guest, I highly recommend this property. Between the renovated property, the cleanliness, the thoughtful room setup, and the genuinely caring staff, this has been an exceptional long-term stay. I’m very grateful to have found this place and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and truly kind hospitality.

I was pleasantly surprised with this establishment. We had to get a hotel room as our place was being tented for termites. My husband and I booked this place, walked into the room and just stopped. A two bedroom suite, a kitchen with full fridge and freezer, and just plenty of space because we brought a lot of things with us that could not be in the tented house. It was very quiet as we had the stairs to one side, no one on the other side, and no neighbors above us. The shower pressure wasn't really a lot, according to my husband. You just had to change the setting on the head. And something on the bottom of the tub/shower so that people don't slip would be good. The internet went in and out at times. My husband had to fix the chain on the toilet as it kept running. We had to learn which way to turn the ice trays in the freezer, as one way wouldn't allow the door to close. Gisela, the front desk clerk, was very helpful with our check in and all our questions, and even granted us late check-out as the termite company said we couldn't get back in until 11 a.m. and my husband and I had to make two trips back and forth with all of our stuff - it'd take time. But we didn't realize our key wouldn't work at 10:30 a.m. instead of at 11 a.m., but we were ok with the late check out keys. My husband wishes they had another ramp to the side walk closer to the elevator area. Another entrance/exit to the establishment would be great (perhaps near 31st). But overall we felt safe and could still get up and get ready to go to work when we needed to. I would and already have recommended this hotel to our neighbors as they might be tenting soon.
