“First trip to Miami”
Overall a great hotel in a quieter section of Miami Beach. Food was excellent with lots of options. My only knock was the pillows on the bed. They were old school foam pillows and could really use an upgrade. That is why the average for the sleep quality.

“Miami Trip”
I enjoyed my stay; however, the pool is too small and the elevators are too slow for a hotel of that size. RIU should consider adding a kids only pool and adding at least two more elevators.

Ice machine on floor 9 was broke our entire 5 night stay. Staff would tell us to go to another floor when I would think they know you can't get off the elevator on a floor you aren't staying on.
