Excellent customer service!!! Rooms were clean!!! Shower hot and good pressure!!! Stayed here night before cruise. Nice view of skyline!! Security gate and walking security so don’t know how neighborhood is but we felt safe

“Pre Cruise two nights served our needs well”

Stayed 2 nights prior to cruise. Served all of our needs but daily rate in the $300 range. Not a new property, ran the AC to keep musty odor at bay. Stayed 2 nights prior to cruise. Served all of our needs but daily rate in the $300 range. Not a new property, ran the AC to keep musty odor at bay. Were provided top floor 3602 (6th floor, Building 3 of Marriott complex). I saw 2 shuttle vans doing a continuous loop; the app shows the stops. No sign on front of shuttle van so my wife and I split up; I stood watch and when it passed by (so I could read the name on the side of the bus) I yelled at her to wave him down. (At night many hotel vans look alike.) Room was perfect, 2 rooms, large, corner with view in 2 directions. Two large TVs featuring about 45 channels including many sports options. Kitchen had oven, full refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes and glasses and cups and silverware, toaster, one cup coffeemaker (tray packet style, avg taste--I always bring VIA) and 2 liquid creamers. Lots of outlets for recharging. Only one comfortable place to sit, a sunken couch/sofo/hide-a-bed. Shower (not tub) and excellent lamp lighting (easy to find switches. Decent water pressure. Housekeeping not offered for our short stay. Breakfast had basics, nothing memorable. Fresh scrambled eggs and a meat that varied each day (sausage, then bacon). Breakfast sandwich was meh. Cereals, juices, yogurts, and several types of fruit were good as was the oatmeal. Servers were prompt in refilling, cleaning tables, and overall worked very hard. Desk clerks were very personable and helpful too. As a Bonvoy Discoverist, was provided points/water/snack with registration. As the property is shared with other Marriott's, we used the pool next door as well as the exercise room (filtered water refills) and the Champions restaurant for Happy Hour dinner (3-6 pm weekdays). Note Champions has an automatic 18% service charge put on the bill but it is clearly written for you to see when signing at the end. Overall I'd return for the convenience of being right next to the airport (for late night flight arrival), reliable free shuttle, decent breakfast, large room. And best part of an older property, not a crowded set of buildings but rather pleasant walkways lined with lovely south Florida flowers and birds.
