“Great Location but parking too high”

Good location for convention but no shuttle to convention center Parking very high for a non downtown hotel. Breakfast ok but same items every am Clean rooms and safe though

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment which suited us as a party of three, these rooms have plenty of space to move around and the bedrooms have their own ensuite, the kitchen is equipped for all needs along with dishwashers /fridge freezer and microwave. We normally stay hear for sea world as it’s only a 5 min drive, there is a 711 a short walk from the resort but little else. The hotel is beside I4 and you can hear the rumble of traffic in your room especially in the early hours The person on check-in was very abrupt with us and didn’t even welcome us or say hello his demeanour was very unwelcoming and not your normal cheery reception at Marriott You will also have to pay for parking at this hotel which has plenty of spaces and disability parking

I will start by saying that I was at this property in February for a sports tournament. If you come in the summer you can take everything I say below and probably multiply it by 10x worse. I can’t imagine what it would be like when it’s prime time for families going to the theme parks. The positive was the staff was very accommodating and VERY nice. Kitchen had only two pots. One TINY and one large. I think the Fischer Price play kitchen starter set would have been better. And there were barely any dishes or silverware. I can bet that prisons have better quality toilet paper. Room service cleans every other day and didn’t think I needed another roll of crappy toilet paper on my 3rd day there. I had less than half a roll left when they cleaned…Let’s not forget I’m in a room that is a capacity of four people. The bathroom sink area & counter space is very small. Floor 2 is intoxicating with laundry fragrance fumes. It was overwhelming. Also my room was facing the pool and the pool noise was so loud I thought my window was open. The blowdryer doesn’t even blow! I think they are from 1982. No luggage carts available…ever. Not to mention the luggage carts are the metal style push carts that you see at an airport. When I asked about carts, the front desk basically told me to go look for them myself “at the ends of hallways.” There is like 8+ hallways plus multiply that by 6 floors. Doors close so loud even when you manually close them and don’t even let them slam. Walls are thin and you can hear everything…especially crying babies. They have barely any pool lounge chairs for the capacity of the hotel and pool area. I counted maybe 20 lounge chairs. All the loungers & chairs were very broken in and have seen better days. Overall the place had a bit of a run down feel. Pool bar barely operated. Elevators are sluggish and feel like they’re on the verge of breaking down.. Continental breakfast is decent but I wish it started at 6 AM instead of 6:30am on Fridays. Starts at 7am on Sat & Sun. With our schedule, we had to be out the door before breakfast started. If your looking for a high end motel 8 or Fairfield inn, than you hit the jackpot. This is your place. Probably a great place for family’s on an extremely tight budget. It checks all the boxes if you have low expectations.
