Place is nice pools are clean rooms are nice size close to shopping and eating. We have enjoyed this place twice now

The resort location is very convenient to access the usual theme parks. Layout of the suites is good. Beds were too hard for my preference. Some renovations or at least decorative refreshing are due for the older buildings. We had some issues which were not handled well and therefore lower my rating, all related to housekeeping and front desk. On the day we had housekeeping, for some strange reason they removed blankets from 2 of the beds so we called the front desk to have those sent up so we could use them to sleep. We called 3 times to make this request and finally had to ask for a manager to visit the suite to be sure we received them, as it was now time for bed and we needed blankets! We were told that the message had not been passed from front desk to housekeeping in our previous phone call requests. Also, during this housekeeping, something was used to wipe a mirror that made it dirtier than before the cleaning. The rag was either dirty or had been used on something else before being used on the mirror but it left a very noticeable white haze over the half of the mirror which they wiped. Why did they only wipe half? who knows? why didn't they notice they made it dirtier instead of cleaner and fix it before finishing in the suite? what was on that cloth and what other surfaces did they use it on before or after the mirror? what other surfaces were 'cleaned' with something that made them dirtier instead of cleaner? were unsanitary cloths being used on other surfaces around the unit? It made us distrust whether anything was truly clean. A few days later we were doing laundry and noticed only one of our two suites had laundry detergent so we again called the front desk to request this. Again, it took multiple calls before it was delivered. This resort has the potential to become a great destination if more effort was put into customer service and routine maintenance or if standards are not upheld it will be a choice guests will regret and not return to after a first visit.
