Standard Hampton Inn with normal amenities in newly updated facility. Breakfast was hot, plentiful, well stocked and well staffed. Clean, freshly updated with new paint and updated decor. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Quiet rooms with sharp, modern furnishings. I’ve stayed here several times since 2021 and will be back again.

“Overall good stay but a few issues.”

I am an honors member and apparently at this hotel, you have to be a gold or diamond member to get a 10 cent bottle of water. It has a sign that says so. I am an honors member and apparently at this hotel, you have to be a gold or diamond member to get a 10 cent bottle of water. It has a sign that says so. We asked for water at the desk and they guy pointed us to the shop where we could buy some. Come on. 10-12 cents is what it cost to buy it in bulk. The room was nice and clean and the location was perfect for what we needed. As an Honors Member, I just thought that limiting the water only to major travelers doesn't make sense. We stayed at three Hamptons that week and they were the only ones that limited who got water. The bed was decent and clean. The hotel is right off of I30 so you will hear the interstate traffic. Ask for a room that does not face the interstate. It is close to restaurants and was an easy on easy off for us as we were traveling. The front desk employee was not very friendly but that may just be because of the water issue. Love the days when the water was always in the room .

“Disappointed in a once good hotel”

This hotel used to be nice. Now it is starting to go down hill. I walked right in as the doors weren’t locked as they stated they were. I didn’t see anyone at the desk. This hotel used to be nice. Now it is starting to go down hill. I walked right in as the doors weren’t locked as they stated they were. I didn’t see anyone at the desk. A young man was on the phone in the lobby. He was dressed in sweats and walked over to the desk. Put the phone down and asked my name. Took him a bit to find my reservation, but did. Handed me a key with a sticky note on it with my number. We arrived late at night, we were checked in quickly, but no cold waters offered. Whatever, it was late (11pm) and I was tired. Went to bed. Noticed that the sheets were not like they had been. They are sort of scratchy - cheap sheets. Husband got up to shower and had to wait a full 5 minutes for the water to heat. Then, I went in after him and it was still hot, so I thought. It went cold right after I soaped my hair. Stayed cold. Not Luke warm…cold. When we were leaving, we didn’t have much time. We were heading for a funeral. NO ONE came to the desk. This was pretty much the whole time we were there, there was no one at the front desk. We had to go. Again, when we retuned pretty late in the evening, there was no one at the desk. We did have to use our key to enter this time. Again, the water was cold and took around 5 minutes to warm up. This time it stayed warm. I failed to mention that there was no soap or shampoo in the room. We had to go back down and get it ourselves. I was happy that they seemed to have remodeled. the shower was a nice, clean walk in shower. But, the water issue was bad. Also, they moved the place to hang up towels into the room instead of in the bathroom. The carpet is looking worn. The black out curtain in our room far from made the room dark. It was too far away from the windows and there was a very bright light outside our room. That, and there were holes in the curtain. It was odd as it looks remodeled in some ways, but also in disrepair. Overall, I was disappointed. We have stayed at this location a few times as it is close to our family. However, I don’t think we will book there again.
