We were there for a Film Shoot with a total of 10 rooms and got the group discount. Stayed 2 nights. The hallways were warm but the rooms were ok with the AC. I got a King which was by the road. BIG MISTAKE! Ask for a room by the back so you don't hear the cars all night. I asked to switch but they said they were full. The second night it wasn't as bad, or maybe I was just exhausted from the film shoot. I did not use the Fitness Room or the Pool or Laundry but took photos. The hotel was clean and had a nice sitting area in the lobby. Good value for a nice room Breakfast was ok, hot coffee and tea were available 24 hours as well as snacks. Very nice people at the desk! I asked for extended checkout until 12 but when I got to my room at 11 I was locked out. The housekeeper was able to let me in after verifying it was my room. I would think we would use this hotel again the next time we come to film. Star Trek: Dreadnought Dominion on Youtube! Thanks for a nice stay. You should have seen their faces when we all came downstairs in our Romulan Makeup and costumes!

“Functional & Clean, but feels like a dormitory, not a hotel”

The hotel was very convenient to the highway, reasonably priced, and well maintained. However, I must say it felt far more like a college dorm or summer camp room than something flying the Hilton banner. It was very bare bones. On the good side, the bathroom was well laid out and, unlike many hotels, it did not look like the training ground for new tile setters. For us tall boys, I was pleased to find a multi-setting shower head well above head height on the wall and an abundance of hot water. It also had a sturdy grab bar and footrest. It would have been nice to have some cups in the room, whether disposable or ceramic, and a night light in the bathroom would have been helpful. As for the rest of the guest room, there was one chair, and a cushion that would allow you to sit on the luggage desk if needed. The walls were bare, the floors were hard laminate instead of carpet, and there was no closet! All that was provided for your hanging clothing was an L-shaped piece of plumbing pipe descending from the ceiling and 6 studs protruding from the wall on the other side. There was a nice TV, and an abundance of lights and outlets, but no safe for valuables or even a closeable drawer in the nightstand stand. The hallways and elevators were equally sparce with no trim, decor or artwork on the walls. I just really felt like I was staying in a facility.

“Good minimalistic stay”

We stayed here after the ACC Championship game in Charlotte as it was on our way for the next morning. It was a clean room, not much beyond the bare minimums, but that is what we wanted. The hotel was fully booked, yet the front desk was courteous and breakfast was done well. We would stay again.
