I booked her for my Mother's birthday staycation. I booked an ADA 1 bedroom suite (2 Queen Beds) and a pull out sofa for 3 nights/4 days. I purposely booked an ADA room with a roll-in shower as my mother is disabled and wheelchair dependent. The tub/shower combination would not work; she requires a roll-in shower, or at least a bench. I went to the Front Desk where Brandon, a manager of the site and Yolanda, Front Desk Agent were there and informed them of the situation. They both worked so hard to accommodate me and my family in that moment, but was difficult and would have to hold off in changing rooms the next day. The accommodation they provided was so unexpected that I HAVE to give a shout-out to them! The next day, they moved us from our original room (623), downstairs to 519 (which was an ADA room WITH the roll-in shower) AND 521, only having to cover the cost for one room as it was the hotels error foe the room we were initially placed in. Thank you so much Brandon and Yolanda! As for the hotel, overall it's a good. There is some wear and tear, but nothing too drastic to not be overlooked. The one issue I did have is that I booked a hotel specifically for my mom to enjoy the pool. I was quite excited to see the pool had a lift for disabled parties to be able to get in the pool, but when I was advised to call foe assistance in working it, someone came just to say, "It's not working." We found a way to still let my mom enjoy the pool, but that was a disappointment after being led to believe if was working. There are restaurants in the area that are in walking distance, with a Chinese and Hibachi restaurant across the street. The only point for those that may stay here, was there is a bus stop right outside of the hotel, wherein homeless people would take shelter. Other than that, the hotel served its purpose in providing lodging.

After the room issues I had last week with the AC and lack of hot water, I received a full credit for my stay (less parking and dinner charged to my room at the adjacent HGI). Thank you for your effort in making this right and honoring the Hilton commitment to quality that we have all come to expect. This is the reason that I became a Lifetime Hilton Diamond member.
