“Nice park, hardworking volunteers and staff; poor RV site access”
The campground and lake setting is fabulous and the staff are friendly and friendly and helpful. Alas, the shoulder of the access road to my RV site was deeply eroded. We enjoyed using the clean comfort station although the path through the woods was in poor condition due to gravel washout.Fortunat… more

“RV parking available in Helen, Shuttle sucks!”
the shuttle from the RV area to Helen never materialized and we were stranded. we left with the rv and were able to find RV parking in Helen. they only had like 7 spaces for RVs but it seems to be a mystery.. its actually in the middle of Helen down a street. you park for $20 and then you walk to t… more
