This hotel is wonderful. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to give all guests a nice experience. They were always smiling and helpful. When things would get busy during the free breakfast or managers reception, more workers would come out to help. The check in process was seamless, the mangers reception was wonderful. It’s not just chips and pretzels. They serve substantial food-bbq beef sandwiches, soup, salad, assorted veggies, hot dogs, nachos one evening and another great spread the next night. (Meatballs in brown gravy, mashed potatoes, salad, chicken noodle soup, plus the hot dogs and nachos etc. They also provide 3 complimentary alcoholic drinks and unlimited pop. The drinks werent just a mix, they had bartenders making all sorts of mixed drinks as well as wine and beer. The breakfast was great. The “egg man” as I called him was smiley and friendly each morning. Many choices for the breakfast buffet and it was refilled often as needed. The rooms were incredibly clean and up to date. The whole hotel was nicely taken care of and clean. The pool and hot tub area was awesome. The pool was large and gave plenty of room for dozens of guests to all be swimming and playing at the same time. The water temp was great. Not too cold like some places. The hot tub was wonderful. They have tons of seating options and chaise lounge chairs for people to sit on. The entire area was clean and the towels were always stocked. Staying at the Drury In. Was such a nice experience, I chose to stay an additional night at the end of my trip. Hats off to this hotel. Great job!

“Best stop in Valdosta.”

Great from start to finish. Very nice and friendly staff. The room was clean and quiet. The evening reception was terrific. We were planning on going out for dinner after traveling all day, but this reception was more than enough for dinner. Included drinks also! Breakfast was very good also.… more

Great from start to finish. Very nice and friendly staff. The room was clean and quiet. The evening reception was terrific. We were planning on going out for dinner after traveling all day, but this reception was more than enough for dinner. Included drinks also! Breakfast was very good also. Honestly, I am usually a Hilton fan, however the Hiltons around Valdosta don't measure up. You pay a little more for the Drury, but when you figure dinner and drinks are included, it all works out, and it's a great property. Stay here.

“An expensive location, while it's siblings are cheaper!”

Stayin within this area, once again, I opted for Drury. Here the price is quite high compared to other locations, in fact just South of Atlanta, this plce is literally twice (double) for the same room. I sure there is a reason...just don't see it. Stayin within this area, once again, I opted for Drury. Here the price is quite high compared to other locations, in fact just South of Atlanta, this plce is literally twice (double) for the same room. I sure there is a reason...just don't see it. As for the staff, pleasant and accomidating, however, they always seem to ask for permission from someone before they execute. Lastly, like many travelers, they are eager to eat and get on the road again....here, the AM breakfast staffer was quick to retort, "The area is open when the lights are on"...noted, it's just that some people wanted coffee...and wondered into the serving area. S per my last encounter, both the "Kick back: and breakfast were late to open....you'd thnk by now the staff would have this down pat. Not So! Not So!
