“Good older motel”
The staff was welcoming and helpful. I saw "train noise' mentioned on other reviews but it didn't bother me at all. I met some cool people who were traveling on Route 66 and fellow hikers. They recommended a great coffee house (Mt. Taylor Coffee Co.)

Stoped for the night on Old Route 66 in Grants and stayed at the “South Western Motel”. The hospitality was amazing! “Homey feel - low price”
It was a clean and comfortable motel on Route 66. For the price I can’t complain. Only thing I would point out is if you are a bigger person, you may not fit in the shower comfortably.
