We stayed with our RCI timeshare week with Club Wyndham Waikiki Marina Resort who owns about 200 units in the building. This hotel is owned by multiple groups and some units are privately owned while others are owned by the Marina resort and Ilikai so, there are many types of units (some old and some new) It was difficult to find reviews on the timeshare portion of this hotel. First, we loved the location being right next to the Hilton vacation club resort and the lagoon. We were within walking distance of Ala Moana center Mall and the Ala Moana Park to watch sunsets. The hotel has numerous restaurants and stores in walking distance. We walked past the lagoon and down Waikiki Beach to the beach walk and back. The lagoon is a public beach so, it is really convenient that it is out the back door of the Ilikai and so accessible. We watched the fireworks off the back patio of the Ilikai. Parking was about $50 a day with the tax for valet which is all they offer. There is alternative to park at the Marina garage which is a short walk away (2 blocks), however, we opted for ease of leaving and returning with groceries etc. It really was convenient and money well spent. Valet was very quick in retrieving our vehicle and so very friendly. Check in for the timeshares are just past the market down the hall on the left marked Marina Resort above the door (not at the lobby check in counter). The market was fantastic inside the hotel since it offered quick food options such as sushi and many drink choices. It's also a souvenir shop. They have an ice cream parlor and coffee shop in the lobby area and the whole lobby is open air which is just lovely with the Ocean breeze. On Friday nights there is entertainment on the back patio followed by fireworks over the lagoon which you could see from the patio. We were given an older unit but it was sufficient. It was small and probably only good for two people. The kitchen was tiny but had what we needed. (Note: no dishwasher) We didn't spend much time in the room and I don't think we ever turned the television on. There was a large balcony and we overlooked a city view on the 11th floor. The air conditioner worked amazing and the bed was comfortable, but pillows are old and need to be replaced. Housekeeping entered on Monday to take the garbage out, and exchange towels, but does nothing further for timeshare guests. If you arrive at the hotel with a lot of luggage, you will need to take the elevator to the right side of the escalator up. They do not allow luggage on the escalator. Bless you if you want to take the steep stairs up. They have a laundry room on each floor with two washers and two dryers. They are busy in there and cost $3 for each use. The instructions on the wall say you need to download an app but I did not. I just tapped my credit card and it worked. It took a little getting used to. I think I spent about $18 doing laundry for the week (3 loads). We loved the value of this hotel compared to others and the location was wonderful. We will definitely return.

The Ilikai is both a hotel and a time-share combination. The Ilikai is in a good location, next to the Hilton vacation complex, the staff is friendly, has two pools and several shops. There are restaurants, including an outdoor restaurant next to the marina. 2 car rentals on-site, Hertz and Alamo and a large parking garage. It's a fast-paced hotel. I stayed in the timeshare portion, overlooking the marina, room #2006 on the 20th floor. This timeshare unit was a huge disappointment and do not recommend. Dirty floor, only 3 (not matching) glasses, 1 wine glass, a layer of crud in the rails of the slider, no dresser just a wicker storage box and a stained mattress pad. The owner was non-responsive. If you are staying in the Ilikai timeshare units, screen the owners carefully.
