“A Kings Paradise”

5-star resort the moment you arrive. Claire greeted us with Hawaiian hospitality. She took a few moments to navigate the amenities during our week long stay. She later checked in with us to ensure if we were settled in. Our 2 bedroom condo is very clean and modern furniture with well equipped ki… more

“Love Kings Land:)”

Such a nice place to stay. Highly recommend it. There were 4 of us in a 2 bedroom. Try to get building 7 next to the clubhouse if you can, as it's right next to the pools. They have a cold plunge right next to a hot tub.....and you can drive down (or take a shuttle) to Ocean Tower to do a pool day … more

“Dolphin Quest”

I want to start by saying the resort itself is stunning — the suites are updated and lovely, the pools have a bit more to desire, the staff at Hilton Grand Vacations on the Big Island were wonderful, and I’d consider returning. But I have to be honest about something that really stuck with me: Dolp… more

“Beautiful resort, poor housekeeping”

Beautiful location, love the resort and the pools overall. We’ve been coming here every year for the past 6 years so lots of experience. The negatives are mostly around the housekeeping crew. I’m not sure why the service provided is so subpar, but we’ve had repeated issues. One being towels/trash d… more

  • The top reviews of Hilton Grand Vacations Club Kings’ Land Waikoloa are: This property is about a 30-minute drive north of Kona airport. We arrived after sunset (our original flight had us arriving in the early afternoon, but unfortunately, was canceled) which was a bit of a challenge because signage could have been better lit. We circled around trying to find the main check-in area (and also found it hard to see the sign indicating the building that we were assigned to). There are multiple buildings (about 10) here. We were in building 24. It shares a pool/hot tub with two other buildings, but never felt crowded. Check-in attendant was friendly and all went smoothly there. We stayed in a 1-bedroom with golf-view, which was nice as our views were of the golf-course (with a family of goats trotting through one morning) instead of the parking lot. Kitchen had dishwasher, full-size fridge, stove and microwave with dining table for 4. There was also a washer/dryer in the unit which we appreciated. The living area was spacious, but the bathroom was the star! Very nice and roomy walk-in shower and deep soaking tub. There is a self-serving breakfast buffet (nothing was made to order) offered on the patio outside of the main building, but skip this. It's not worth the price ($68.00 for two). Waffles and other food items that were pre-made were cold and there wasn't a microwave to warm anything up in. You will also have to fight the birds that swoop down (one actually grabbed a part of my waffle and flew off with it). Go to Queens Marketplace shopping plaza (1.5 miles away) and get your breakfast at Kona Biscuit Company or Starbucks. We picked up a few groceries at the KTA Supermarket (about 10 minutes away), but be prepared for sticker shock. Everything in Hawaii is expensive! As guests, you will have privileges to use the pools/hot tubs at the Hilton Waikoloa Village down the road. Bring your parking ticket to one of the valets out front, who will validate it. Stop at the front desk and they will give you a bracelet to wear that allows you access to the property as well as beach towels that you can pick up near the Kona pool. Hilton Waikoloa Village is a big property - we took the monorail from the lobby to the pool area, but we were ok with walking back to the lobby/parking area on our way back. We spent one afternoon enjoying lunch at the Lagoon Grill (we split a turkey club sandwich because it was quite large) and hanging out at the saltwater lagoon where you can rent kayaks, pedal boats and cabanas. Hilton Grand Vacations Club Kings Land is a beautiful property with nice amenities. We loved the quieter, family-friendly atmosphere. We would stay there again..
