“Beautiful lodging near Volcanoes National Park”
The Kīlauea Lodge and grounds are well maintained. Our room was clean, nicely decorated, and cozy. There is a tasty complimentary breakfast included with the stay. The lodge is located very close to Volcanoes National Park. It's a wonderful place to stay.

“Quiet lovely place to stay”
There are only a few nice places to stay in Volcano and this is a great option where you can hear the birds and be in the rainforest. The dining room is also a plus as well as the hot tub.

“A rare gem - exceeded expectations”
My wife and I spent a couple of nights at the Kilauea Lodge in May, 2026 after several nights in Kona at a large resort. The contrast between the two was interesting. While the large resort was nice, it felt impersonal with employees going through the motions. Kilauea Lodge had a different vibe.… more

“Definitely the place to stay to relax!”
A beautiful, quiet stay in the Volcano area. Excellent accommodations, service, food and atmosphere. Loved our room and the view of the forest.
