My husband and I stayed two nights in an ensuite room. It was not fancy, but clean and and quite comfortable. We had a nice porch with a wonderful close view of the falls (with constant water sound effects and tree frogs.) There was a nice common room with kitchen, and snacks available. It rained a lot while we were there but still took the hike through the rain forest along the river. The entire complex is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A place to go for getting away from hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the chefs dinner one night. I recommend booking directly on the website, then you will get complimentary breakfast. Also make sure you get your own bath; some rooms share. I would highly recommend this place.

“BEST Inn I’ve ever experienced. Private gated community with private falls….how can you say no?”

I can’t communicate how amazing this place is. I’m going to give you the details I wish we’d had known. First we were on the island for 13 days. Spent 1/2 on west side first. Then moved to east side here. As we drove in we were extremely disappointed. Run down town. Homeless. Poverty. Super sad. We read the inn reviews and knew we had to check in before dark…no joke. They are a completely private community that’s gated and off the beaten path. So first thing once we got there was to check in. Private gate. Then probably 3 miles of curves of farmland and animals and small homesteads. Then another gate. This is where you check in. Use the code and enter. Wooooowwwww. View the gardens and workers and maybe even a baby goat they were nursing as it was following the guy with the bottle we stoped and petted and visited with! When you arrive at the residences you open the car door to the sounds of falls. We went to the window and checked in. They came out and gave us a tour of the paths to the falls, deck where breakfast is served overlooking the falls, self-serve coffee, tea, water and fresh juice is located in the morning. (Unbelievably amazing chief!!!) Our room was nothing elaborate. It was basically a room with a balcony and chairs overlooking the parking lot and a view opposite the falls (we selected this since others were booked). We had a private bathroom with amazing shower products! There was no air conditioning (we knew this) but the breeze in March was so refreshing. I wouldn’t do this in July unless they offered a rental air conditioner. They supplied river towels which we took in day trips to other beaches. There was a great community use basket on our floor with sunscreen, aloe Vera , bug spray, etc. the one thing they didn’t have when I asked at the desk was flashlights for the caves. So we bought 2 from the store and used them but left them with the front desk when we left for others. I’d recommend they offer a borrower program where you check them out (like a library book) and you get charged if you don’t return. Also they offer a grab and go lunch fridge but it’d be amazing if they offered a packaged lunchbox like their breakfast you order in advance. Also the menu for breakfast is the same for everyday. Panini or omelet or French toast. A simple way to allow modifications would be to expand optional ingredients, like tomatoes or mushrooms or other vegetables. Offer oatmeal that’s not instant you make on your own. A European version would probably be well received (maybe an up charge). Portions are huge! Flavor is like nowhere else! Servers are sweet and attentive. So friendly and low key. Thank you for everything. I’d live to buy your place!!!!!!

Everything about our stay was so awesome! From the breakfast, location, staff, atmosphere, scenery - everything was perfect. We even made friends with the inn cat, Alice.

The photos on their website are extremely misleading — they look nothing like the cubbyhole we actually got. There is no real reception — everything is handled through an app, including ordering breakfast, which you’re expected to decide days in advance. Breakfast itself was very poor. To make matters worse, a special dinner we had booked (for which they charged a 20% gratuity upfront) was canceled shortly before arrival due to low participation. They also charged 50% at the time of booking and the remaining 50% three days before arrival. The only redeeming aspect was the view, which was genuinely beautiful.
