The hotel was amazing and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was huge and very well appointed. The shower was phenomenal and my wife would have been happy to spend our entire stay in it. Hot Springs is such a gorgeous, layed back place and the hotel is situated right in the center of all the chilled out atmosphere Hot Springs is famous for. Our stay was made all the better by the staff who are helpful and friendly. We would like to make special mention of Ezra, our valet, who was especially helpful and ran about in the heat to get our car with a cheery smile on his face. He was friendly, gave fantastic local advice, and more than anything, genuine. This is a rare trait in a tipping environment - being genuinely nice and helpful without coming across as fake and forced. Thank you, Ezra.

The Waters is a lovely boutique hotel located on historic Central Avenue, within easy walking distance of the shops and bathhouses. The hotel has a cozy, intimate atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our king room was spacious and charming, with exposed brick, a comfortable bed, a large closet, a desk area, a Frame TV, and a moderately sized bathroom. Valet parking made accessing the hotel convenient, and we were able to retrieve and return our car as often as needed. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar, which offered an intimate setting and a beautiful terrace garden that seemed to blend into the mountain. Unfortunately, our otherwise wonderful stay ended with a stressful valet issue. Because we were leaving around 3 a.m. to catch an early flight from Little Rock, we spoke with the valet the night before and asked whether we needed to make special arrangements. We were told that we did not and should simply request the car through the provided app. When we came downstairs, however, the valet attendant was nowhere to be found. The hotel manager searched for him and said he was working on an “audit.” When the attendant eventually appeared, his behavior raised concerns that he might be impaired, and he was unable to locate our rental-car keys. For approximately 40 minutes, we went back and forth between the hotel and the valet lot, first confirming that our car was still there and then trying to find the missing keys. My daughter even searched through the valet station and the attendant’s jacket in an effort to locate them. Once the keys were finally found deep inside a cabinet in the valet storage area, I then had to explain that another vehicle needed to be moved because it was blocking ours. The hotel manager was clearly frustrated and upset but was unable to intervene because the valet company is a separate contracted business. Thankfully, we eventually retrieved our car and made our flight, which felt like a miracle after such a long and stressful delay. Overall, we had a lovely stay at The Waters and would recommend the hotel for its location, charm, comfortable accommodations, and rooftop terrace. However, the hotel and its valet contractor need a more reliable procedure for securing keys and handling early-morning departures.

“Great stay in Hot Springs”

Lovely hotel in Hot Springs! Great location in the middle of downtown, good value, clean and spacious rooms, and helpful/kind staff. Would stay again.

“Great location but disappointing facilities”

The building was very interesting. Apparently it was a medical building back in the 1920s which explains the abundance of tile walls in the hallways. The location itself was very convenient to shops and restaurants. Parking options were minimal so you're pretty much stuck with using valet parking. … more

The building was very interesting. Apparently it was a medical building back in the 1920s which explains the abundance of tile walls in the hallways. The location itself was very convenient to shops and restaurants. Parking options were minimal so you're pretty much stuck with using valet parking. The valet attendant was very friendly but he failed to mention that parking by valet was $30. I probably would have paid it for the convenience but I would have appreciated knowing what the charge was ahead of time. There was a sign listing the charge but it was inside and not obvious. The room was a serious disappointment. I knew we wouldn't be getting a city view but had no idea we'd get a view of an alley full of ac units. For the cost I expected a little better. The room itself was tiny and the barn door to the bathroom felt like it was about to fall off its tracks. I really wanted to love it. I would probably stay there again if for no other reason than it is right in the middle of wonderful shops and restaurants.
