“We were a little worried since we have never heard of Red Lion Inn ....”
We were a little worried since we have never heard of Red Lion Inn and Suites, but very pleased with the service and the room. Lots of room. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Beds were a little hard, but I think all hotel beds are. The rooms were spacious and clean.

“Perfectly reasonable and clean stay”
Stayed here for a dance event in the suburbs of Chicago. I was a bit worried by past reviews, but it turned out to exceed expectations: PROS 1. “A basic room”
Over price for what is provided. Only one of the beds was somewhat comfortable. Most of the lights were not working, making the room dark. What they called a free breakfast was shameful. No juice or milk. I would not consider this to be a breakfast. There's not much about the hotel.
