I arrived at this hotel after a long drive from California, planning to stay just one night while my new apartment was being finalized. The experience was so exceptional that I ended up staying five days! The staff truly made this stay memorable. Every encounter was met with genuine friendliness and warm smiles. They consistently checked in to ensure everything was going well, making me feel welcomed during what could have been a stressful transition. The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed to feel comfortable while away from home. My room had a decent view—not the best, but not the worst either, and I enjoyed it. The overall atmosphere of the hotel strikes a perfect balance between welcoming and professional, creating a relaxed environment that made it easy to unwind after long days of apartment hunting and settling in. The complimentary breakfast each morning was a delightful way to start the day and added great value to the stay. The River North location is incredibly convenient for those looking to shop or explore everything Chicago has to offer. The area is reasonably quiet overall. As a Chicago native, I appreciate the natural city sounds—if things were too quiet, I'd actually be worried! If you're not from the city, you might notice typical urban noise, but given the prime location, it's expected and unavoidable. It never interfered with my comfort. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chicago who's looking for reasonable prices, nice accommodations, and a genuinely helpful staff. What was supposed to be a quick overnight turned into a comfortable home base that made my move to Chicago so much easier.

“Chicago Birthday Trip”

I always look for a Hilton Brand hotel, preferably a suite. Embassy or Home 2. Embassy 1st because of the delicious breakfast. I always look for a Hilton Brand hotel, preferably a suite. Embassy or Home 2. Embassy 1st because of the delicious breakfast. This location is downtown, so if a light sleeper, the traffic could interrupt where sleep. The breakfast was less than desirable, even the coffee was very weak. The room was clean, but the mattress needed to be replaced and the sheets were very thin. The staff was very accommodating, we were able to check in an hour early and got a 2 hour late check out. Our departure was not until later that evening and the efficient front desk stored our luggage while we went out. I didn't get anyone's name but encountered 3 different front desk personnel all were excellent. I also encountered a young lady from housekeeping who was very kind. Front Desk check in is on the 2nd floor. Room 1209 with a view.
