We stayed at LondonHouse over Memorial Day weekend and had a fabulous experience! Everything from arrival to departure was top notch! Hotel is well appointed and very clean. We had a river view room on the 19th floor that had a spectacular view! Totally worth the stay even just for that view! We had a super easy check-in (our room was ready even though we arrived early!), excellent communication throughout the stay and a very smooth checkout! Mark Z was our Bellman several times and he was FANTASTIC! Always willing to answer questions and he was extremely helpful! Looking forward to staying here again soon!

An absolutely gorgeous hotel with a super friendly staff that is walking distance to everything. I had a weird and grueling work situation where I had to stay in Chicago for two nights, go to Milwaukee for a night, then back to Chicago for two nights. This was also over Memorial Day weekend when the hotel was jammed. I loved my room so much that a wonderful front desk worker named Alfie figured out a way for me to get in again when I came back a day later. Well, I wound up back at the hotel 4 hours earlier than usual check-in, and my room was (understandably) not ready. So dear Alfie found me another room with the same view and got me checked in early. As a business traveler in the middle of a grueling trip, it made the whole difference of the weekend being able to rest for those 4 hours instead of sitting in the lobby. I love Alfie and will be back.

“Location was excellent, a few small complications”

The location was wonderful, right at the best intersection of Michigan and Wacker. The room was small but very nice and had all the accommodations you would need. There was some noise in our room for the first night so we switched rooms, which was better. The view facing the river was outstanding… more

The location was wonderful, right at the best intersection of Michigan and Wacker. The room was small but very nice and had all the accommodations you would need. There was some noise in our room for the first night so we switched rooms, which was better. The view facing the river was outstanding. Negatives, the rooftop bar was packed both nights. I mean packed. The host who was a very young man in a suit did not have the tact for customer service and was not polite. The toilet paper is thin and lousy and the toilet paper fixture actually was not operating properly causing the roll to fall to the floor. The food and beverage credit as a Hilton Diamond member did not apply, and I could net get the front desk to apply it correctly. Overall a nice stay with a few complications.

I have never had such a truly awful experience as I did with the Windy City Massage located inside the London House Curio Hotel in Chicago. Please note, this business is not associated with the hotel, and they are truly awful. First booking an appointment, I spoke with Samantha, who was rude and stated no accommodations could be made. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I spoke with Tanya, who apparently is a director, but her lack of empathy, niceness, and kindness was something this person does not exhibit. She has an attitude and doesn't care, and it definitely shows. Not sure how she's a director. When I arrived, the front desk agent, Trina, asked the people I was seated next to if they wanted water, but didn't ask me. Keep in mind, I was seated right next to these two people. The man looked over at me, thinking it was odd she didn't ask me as well. I was booked with Botsaba, who was so rude and odd that I still cannot believe how she acted. I requested when I booked with this with Trina, someone who was skilled at deep tissue. I was told Butsaba was that person. She is not. I asked Butsaba at least three times to please do deep tissue. She told me to relax and breathe. She was rubbing my body lightly, and when you're paying $220 for a deep tissue massage, and your massage is not deep, that's a problem. I had to stop the massage bc she wasn’t massaging deep tissue and she was intentionally trying to do the opposite of what I requested - so weird and odd. Please do yourself and don’t book a “spa” experience with this company, they are truly awful! In terms of the hotel, it is very expensive for what you get. I loved the view from my hotel room but for $1700 for 3 nights, there should be more to this room. The customer service was not great at this hotel. They don’t go above and beyond at all, and the tv wasn’t working properly.
