We had a lovely stay. The entire staff was friendly. The room was clean. The pool was comfortably warm. The breakfast was above average. To address some previous comments, the garage is tight but typical for a downtown. There are spaces with some extra width available. The evening reception food is limited if you're planning on making it your evening meal. We were not bothered by traffic noise or noise from being across from the elevator, but we kept the fan on the heating unit on low. The Convention Center is connected which was nice in the winter. It is a good 10 minute walk. There is also a good variety of restaurants close by, some you can access without going outside. I'd definitely stay again.

“Confusing but not a bad hotel”

Driving up to the hotel “doors” was interesting. The entrance is a bit hidden so drive slow to find it. It’s hard to explain this part so I’m going to try my hardest…pulled up to a small arrival area and went in the automatic door, signs everywhere that this door doesn’t work that door doesn’t work so you kind of feel trapped in a puzzle. Escalator up to concierge worked. You can pay for parking at the hotel so that was convenient. (I remember when parking was part of the rate…I guess those days are gone) to go back down to where your car is you can’t take the escalator - it’s broken, and the elevator only goes to main floor. Only option are the stairs. (Will later be an issue with luggage). Got into the car and headed over to the attached parking garage. Be careful with the size of your vehicle. We had to maneuver the truck to not hit anything. Maybe take a car if you can. Level 9 was where pull on reserved parking started. Took the elevator to 4, the concierge mentioned 4…thank God a hotel staffer was there to tell us it’s “3”. Got to three and ended up at the area with the doors that don’t or do work. Room was fine. Same room as a few other Embassy Suites. Clean. Some ceiling damage, but clean nonetheless. Pull out sofa was ok but they only gave up a flat sheet to cover it. Weird. Evening reception stated 6pm. We went downstairs and ended up at the pay bar. They didn’t open till 6:30. Food on hand was extremely limited. Fresh veggies and dip and chips and buffalo dip. That was it. Other evening receptions were full of good foods. Not this one sadly. Beds are good. Views are nice. Breakfast was nice. Lots of choices. Lots of room to sit and eat. Checkout was easy. Getting luggage down the stairs was annoying. Tips: go slow so you don’t miss the entrance Take a car Ask Siri to walk you to the places you want to go. Go get the shrimp cocktail at Harry and Izzy’s - but beware it has a KICK Take photos - Indy is architectural and historical gold

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mix of good and frustrating experiences. On the positive side, the location was very convenient, and the room and common areas were clean, which we appreciated. However, several issues made the stay less enjoyable. The pool was closed on the first day of our arrival, which was disappointing. In our room, the body wash bottle was empty, which should have been caught during cleaning. Breakfast was another challenge. It took quite a while to find an open table, and the made-to-order station had very long lines because only one person was preparing the food. I even noticed the same employee walking across the room to grab clean plates, which made the wait even longer. It seemed clear the manager and staff were understaffed and could really use more help. The evening social hour had the same issue, with long lines and only one person making drinks. The pool area also needed more attention. There were no towels available, and the floor was extremely wet with no one maintaining it or trying to keep it dry, which could easily become a safety concern. Parking at the hotel is very expensive, so we used SpotHero across the street for about half the price and it was less than a 5-minute walk. Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its great location and cleanliness, but staffing and maintenance issues really impacted the experience. With better staffing and attention to details, the stay could be much better.
