I would say this is the best hotel experience we have had in years. From the friendly staff, to the overall ambience, cleanliness, and just relaxing atmosphere. In both interactions with the front desk, they were courteous and extremely helpful. When I asked about ice; it wasn’t just “it’s in the lower lobby” the lovely woman actually told me exactly where to look and asked if I needed a bag (saving me a trip back to my room). This is customer service at its finest! We were on the second floor street side. Perhaps we are heavy sleepers or because school was out of session, but the road noise never bothered us. Yes there was some there, but it was not overwhelming. If you are bringing your furry family member as we did…look no further! If you go out through the lower lobby and walk through the parking garage to the other side there is a walking path, with grass on both sides that runs for at least a mile..and one direction leads directly to the James Quillan Veteran Center where there are beautiful grounds to walk and a Memorial Cemetery. As mentioned, the bathrooms are wonderfully large with double sinks and a bathtub. The hot water is HOT so take care. We will definitely be returning!

I stayed here for 1 1/2 nights while my daughter attended a camp at ETSU. The hotel is in an incredible location if you are going to be at events at the adjoining Martin Center for performing arts or anything at the campus (right across the street). When you walk in to the hotel, you will feel a little confused. The building is clearly not that old, but the lobby and common areas are decorated and furnished to look like a grand hotel from the early/mid-1900's. The folks at the front desk said it is a 'replica hotel', which was new to me but I get it now. I had a king room that looked out over the pool and parking deck. It was nice sized and furnishings were ok; the couch looked a little dated though it wasn't intended to in my opinion. The king bed was very, very comfortable. The bathroom was very large; two sinks, walk in shower with good pressure, tub. There is a train that goes by behind the parking deck, but I didn't hear it go by if I wasn't outside; they must have good sound proofing, I missed the schedule, or I slept right through it. I can't imagine there is a nicer hotel in Johnson City than this one. I'd go back again if I were to be in the area.

“Great location, upscale without being snooty”

Nice rooms, well appointed. Wife loved that they still offer individual toiletries instead of installing an industrial sized pump in the shower. Very clean rooms, plenty of parking. Nice rooms, well appointed. Wife loved that they still offer individual toiletries instead of installing an industrial sized pump in the shower. Very clean rooms, plenty of parking. Did have an unusual noise one night, couldn't tell if it was rude neighbors upstairs or perhaps a plumbing noise. Rooms to the rear avoid the roadway traffic noise, but the train does go by several times a night, so pick your poison. There was a pool but couldn't tell if it was open or not.
