Had to travel to Frankfurt, Kentucky and stayed at the Hampton Inn. Did the online check-in which is easy and excellent to utilize, and once the digital key was ready A text is also received often from Hilton asking if there’s anything they can do to help if you have any questions and if so, they’ll connect you directly to the hotel. I wanted to let staff know would be arriving later in the evening just to confirm that there were no hiccups and they connected me with Keith. Keith was friendly, helpful and upon arrival, Keith was the smiling face at the front desk. The hotel is easy to get to plenty of gas stations 24 hour grocery store across the street. There’s various food places nearby upon entering. It was clean. The lobby does lock after midnight so you would need your digital key or key card to get in another great feature there’s coffee 24 hours a day in the lobby along with hot water and various types of tea. The area to which you can sit to eat some of the complementary breakfast in the morning was clean well maintained. It was a group of folks in there enjoying a late evening just chatting and having a nice time the room was immaculate. The temperature controls actually work on the wall so you can turn the heat up. Turn the air down. Turn the fan up turn it off whatever you want lighting was excellent. It wasn’t one of those extremely dark rooms which was nice. Also has blackout curtains. the beds were typical Hampton Hilton brand with pillows that are so comfortable and I got an excellent night sleep. I heard absolutely zero noise from the exterior of the building the main road or in the hallways very very quiet ice machine worked there there’s a microwave and a refrigerator in your room, which is also great to have there’s a stocked area downstairs where we can purchase various drinks from water to soda to alcoholic beverages. Also snack things any type of little essentials you may need on your trip and snack snacks snack snacks, and food to heat up in the microwave are always welcome. There is a laundry area that you can use on the third and fourth floors I believe there’s a business center there. It’s very nice. It’s clean in the morning. They had a breakfast standard buffet with fruits juices, waffles eggs some meat bread great to get something as you’re leaving or to start your day again there’s a nice large seating area with various tables so you can sit and eat and enjoy your breakfast or if you need to do work, you could easily sit your laptop there and do some reports in a nice comfortable area instead of sitting at a desk in your room there are plenty of parking and there is an outdoor pool, although it was too cold to use the pool again, everyone I encountered at the hotel was friendly, smiling, and helpful with any questions that I had during my stay digital key works perfectly. I had no problems. I would recommend this again and I’m actually kind of sad that I didn’t get to stay longer cause it’s in a nice area lots of different things to do historic area lots of tours and be a great place to spend a long weekend.

I would have given this five stars as a solid, nice basic stay, except for one major issue. We were in 222 right next to the elevator and we heard loud elevator noise ALL MORNING starting early and occasionally over night. I'm not a super light sleeper but it was very loud. We think it had to be the elevator making the noise. The hotel appears to have been somewhat recently redecorated in a bright blue/orange/white color scheme. It was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good. Shower worked great. Used the app for check-in and out and the virtual key worked. We did not have our kids with us, but they would have really liked the 2 choices of waffle flavors with several toppings and sprinkles available. Also, the outdoor pool looked really nice (we did not use it). So other than the noise, it was a great stay. I'd avoid any rooms right by the elevator (presumably 122, 222, 322 especially).

“Fair to average Hampton in Frankfort”

I stay at this Hampton Inn between five and seven times per year for business travel. It’s conveniently located to the Buffalo Trace distillery. I will tell you that Frankfort For a capital city is quite strange. The restaurant scene generally sucks. This Hampton Inn is recently renovated however it’s generally done with subpar materials in each room, the sink faucet is mounted too far away from the sink itself, causing the water to splash all over the countertop. This is consistent across all of the rooms that I’ve stayed in. It is generally clean as I noted however, last time I left feeling relatively itchy and I had a couple or what I’d describe as insect bites on my neck. The front counter help is generally friendly however, I have had instances in which the front counter help was difficult to understand. I’ve had to change rooms on occasion. Hampton Inn has become what I would consider a lower level Hilton properties. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of good choices in Frankfort, Kentucky. There are generally not a lot of good restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel so you’re stuck with a longhorn restaurant across the street, which, for a chain isn’t bad. Again, Frankfort is a weird city as far as restaurants, I’ve yet to find anything appealing despite my multiple visits. I wish Hampton would do a better job with their breakfasts as they are essentially inedible anymore. The chicken sausage or chicken bacon just doesn’t cut it. Soggy eggs are not appealing. Hampton is on par with Tru and has become a haven for those seeking a definite budget level of hotel, rather than mid-level business accommodations.
