* The housekeeping, Maria, did an excellent job. * The front desk team overall did a good job also especially Jess, Monique and Michelle. * The breakfast buffet has variety and fresh food. The only drawback was I was not told by the manager nor the staff where omelets station was, had they told me about it, I would have gotten some omelets. * Every public area was very clean, except there is a long hair found on a complimentary fruit plate next to the lobby. * The room was well designed and functional. Quiet. Excellent hot shower temperature. The only drawback is the bathroom door could not stand/still, would always shut back which could create loud noise. I always had to make sure to close it on my own instead of leaving it to bounce back to the close position to avoid creating loud noises that would disturb others on the same floor. They should look into this. * This hotel is within walking distance to Churchill Down which is the home of Kentucky Oaks and Derby, as well as the U. of Louisville and its stadium. But the hotel does not offer free shuttle service to/from Churchill Down on Kentucky Oaks and Derby days. There are paid shuttles available, but not economical. The walk is about 15-20 minutes on paved surfaces. * There are an Arby's and a Mexican restaurant nearby. The hotel also has a one full-service restaurant. * Louisville International Airport is 10 minutes away without traffic, but it does not provide free airport shuttle service like some other hotels do. * This place is not close to downtown Louisville. Takes about 15 minutes' drive to downtown Louisville without traffic via highways.
