“Hotel cats are too precious ”
I love the Tropics for the relaxed atmosphere and for the beautiful hotel cats that are treated as a precious and valuable asset. “Compassionate caring professional staff”
The staff here were incredibly nice and caring. I had to call hotel few times before my trip and they were all courteous and respectful. The pool area is nice to sit out in amd comfortable chairs. The hotel foes not provide beach towels , shampoo, lotion or conditioner ..just small soap so bri.f ... more

“Friendly staff but very tired hotel”
Like many hotels in Miami this one is in dire need of refurbishment. The rooms are very basic without even a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Most disturbing (literally) was how thin the walls seem to be as were heard chatting and banging almost constantly until after 2am. All that said the ... more
