This is a newer hotel just outside the Quarter, a block and a half from Frenchmen St. it is extremely clean, the staff is super friendly, and the breakfast is very good. In the room there is hand soap, body lotion, a blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash(all in large pump containers, not small individuals). We used the good-sized refrigerator and the microwave in the room. Felt very safe with having to use the key entry for the elevator as well as all outside doors. There were security guards at night in the lobby. This is a very easy walk into the French Quarter. Some sketchy blocks between Elysian Fields and Frenchmen St, but we carried pepper spray and no one bothered us.

We recently spent 4 night here during a trip to New Orleans. The location was excellent, just a short 5-min walk to the lively streets of Frenchmen, but far enough away so that there was no street noise, loud music, or other activity around the hotel. It was a good base for walks through the French Quarter, the waterfront, and into the city center. The hotel has good security measures with a key card required to get through the front doors and into the elevators. All the hotel staff that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Everything seemed to be very modern. Our room was excellent - large, airy, and clean with all the standard mod-cons: fridge, microwave, AC, coffee machine, TV and good internet. We also loved the balcony which gave us views across to the city skyline. The breakfast was very good with a decent variety of both hot and cold dishes, including fresh fruit and waffles. We made use of the gym and were quite impressed that it had everything required for great cardio and weights workouts. There were 6 pieces of high-quality cardio machines, a full set of dumbbells, and a double cable multigym. We had quite a few good workouts. Overall we really loved this hotel and would highly recommend it to all travelers.

Great overall stay. Nice front desk staff. Secure. Not directly in french quarter. Nearest to french market. Near riverfront street car line, but that line was closed under construction while we were there. This area can have quite a bit of homeless, and can be dirty, trash, and homeless using bathroom on sidewalk, across from hotel. We got a room with balcony, it was on the back of the building,,glad to have away to open and get fresh air, since room had a weird, maybe musty smell, but didn't gonout on balcony, bc loud delivery trucks were out there, also many people out at the place across from hotel balcony. I dont think pool was heated. Free laundry and breakfast-6a-10a. Very standard hotel breakfast, oatmeal, fruits, hard boiled eggs, same hot dish almost every day, premade omelet with not crispy potatoes, and make your own waffles. I yogurt sometimes, cereal, juices, muffins, toasts, bagels, No gluten free, available, even when asking. The worst part about the stay there was an entire class of HS sophomores were staying there many days worth, 2 grey hound buses worth, took over the breakfast area, and spoke to many of the kids having terrible diarrhea. No hand sanitizer available at the breakfast, and a day later I also have this. 😞 Not fun. Our room was tidied a d new towels, mini fridge no freezer space, microwave, hot shower with good water pressure, pretty clean rooms, and areas, except weird funky smell in our room. Secure locked front lobby doors, and key to get up elevator and stairs. We walked almost everywhere. We used Lyft to WWII museum and streetcar to Garden District. Did not need to park a car, but think there is a cost
