Amazing hotel! When we walked in, the hotel staff greeted up IMMEDIATELY. The place was clean and smelled fresh. The room was nice and clean and new. “Hilton on college campus”
Much of Macon is not nice and/or criss-crossed by busy roads. I was delighted to arrive at this HGI and find that it was within the walled/gated Mercer University with its neoclassical architecture and manicured lawns (and nearly deserted during my summer visit). Room was average. Clean, hairdryer needs a holder under sink. I was on a bus tour, so they provided breakfast in a meeting room. It was only eggs sausage potatoes biscuit.
