Nice little motel and we enjoyed our 2 night stay. Reception was extremely friendly and gave us all the information that we needed for our stay. Parking is free and conveniently right outside your room. The room itself was fairly large, extremely clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom a little small but clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure! The location of this motel is excellent. It is about a 20min walk to downtown Bar Harbor. If you didn't feel like walking the free Island Explorer shuttle has a stop right in front of the motel! This shuttle does a loop of downtown and you can get to Acadia national park using the shuttle! Would definitely recommend to others and stay again on our next visit to Bar Harbor.

“Good place to stay when the hotels are so expensive”

It was a cute motel with updated rooms. Clean and comfortable beds. We even had a view of the harbor from our room with a nice little balcony. The price was crazy expensive for a motel but it was leaf peeping season and the hotels were even more outrageous. Good location close to town and to Arca… more

It was a cute motel with updated rooms. Clean and comfortable beds. We even had a view of the harbor from our room with a nice little balcony. The price was crazy expensive for a motel but it was leaf peeping season and the hotels were even more outrageous. Good location close to town and to Arcadia National Park. As other reviewers mentioned I wish there was a way for them to provide some kind of breakfast but they really don't have a space. Looking Glass restaurant is just minutes away and a good place to eat with a beautiful view. I would stay here again if coming during fall when the hotels are so expensive.

This hotel doesn't look like much from outsdie, turns out it is one of the oldest hotels as it was built after the fires. However, the rooms look completely new inside and are quite roomy. We stayed in room 69 that had two double beds, microwave, coffe maker, and refrigerator. We also had a little balcony that had great views. Loved coming back after a long day and sitting on the balcony with the views and deer. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Housekeeping was great as well. The hotel is a mile from downtown, but we loved the Island hopper that was available right at the hotel, and was free. We rode the Island Hopper most days, because parking is a nightmare downtown and is $4.00 an hours. No the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but I would stay here again for the price.

“Nice budget friendly motel in perfect location.”

Just returned from our 5 day stay in the two bedroom Queen suite, Room 56. The hotel may be a little older, but very clean and the beds are comfortable. Just returned from our 5 day stay in the two bedroom Queen suite, Room 56. The hotel may be a little older, but very clean and the beds are comfortable. Special kudos to Chaz, our housekeeper, who always had our room clean and tidy upon returning. He also showed extreme patience as one of our party was a late sleeper. Front office staff were very helpful. Edenbrook is a lot more budget-friendly than other hotels in the area. Perfect location especially considering the shuttles. We found that getting on the shuttle across the street helped us find a seat in the front before everyone else got on as that is the first stop. Would definitely recommend Edenbrook for your stay in Bar Harbor.

The hotel is in a good location very close to Acadia. The room is large and the bed is comfortable. There needs to be another space in the room to put stuff like a desk or something. The hotel is in a good location very close to Acadia. The room is large and the bed is comfortable. There needs to be another space in the room to put stuff like a desk or something. There is no counter space in the bathroom and only a small table for your things. My other issue was the walls are very thin. You could hear everything from the neighboring room- a cough, a sneeze, talking- everything! Also, folks like to get an early start and every car door slam could be heard. We were getting up early too but normally, that would be super annoying. Not sure I would stay again for these reasons.
