Extended stay while searching for an apartment in downtown Frederick. We have stayed at other nearby hotels and will stay here until we find our next home.

“Nice Clean Affordable Hotel in a Good Area”

We spent 3 nights at this hotel between Christmas and New Year’s Eve 2025. We had two couples in two rooms. We were extremely satisfied. Rooms were nice and clean, and everything worked as expected. Frederick was a great place to stay. We felt safe in the area, and there were plenty of restaurants and shopping areas nearby. We spent one day in Frederick, and the second day we drove to the Shady Grove DC Metro Station, where there was plenty of parking for a good price, and we used the subway to get to Museum of the Bible in DC. This hotel had no swimming pool, hot tub, or sauna, but the free breakfast was good and well stocked. The hotel had free parking and friendly service for a very reasonable price.

Our stay was 2 nights while attending an event in Frederick. Checked in around 3pm & young lady who waited on us seemed in a hurry to leave. As a matter of fact another young woman finished checking us in. Our accessible room was on first floor but down one long hallway and around corner 2 more rooms. We were not told there was a closer door if we parked in rear. Found it leaving the next morning. Hotel was clean & had nice breakfast buffet. A lot of variety. Our room was clean but had an odd smell which I think came from cleaner they used on floors. I have allergies & it was pretty bad the first evening. By the next morning smell had dissipated. My so didn’t notice it as much as I. AC was cold. Water was hot. We had a roll in shower with pull down shower chair but there was no place to put soap or shampoo. They are not in dispensers on the wall but samples on vanity. Our biggest concern & probably the main reason for 3*’s was desk chair. It was on wheels & a definite liability but especially to us with mobility issues. We had to put against the wall to sit down or risk it going out from under us. That was only chair in the room. I called desk & asked about getting another stationary chair but was told only 1 chair per room. It would be better on carpet but not laminate floors. Someone is going to get hurt with those chairs. Beds were very comfortable but a little high. The outlets on side if bed by nitestand did not work. Not a deal breaker, I used outlet on desk. Ice machine was out of ice because 2 golf groups filled up their coolers. I was told it would take 20 minutes or so for it to make more. This hotel does not have a swimming pool which we knew when we booked. It is in a convenient location.
