My partner and I had an absolutely lovely time at this hotel! It was so cool to be in this type of building and the interior was absolutely beautiful! The decorations were beautiful and we appreciated the cookies left out for us. The hosts were super helpful and friendly and the hot tub roof was to die for. It was so intimate being with my partner in the hot tub seeing the beautiful view of the city at night, as no one else had gone out at the same time as us! We would 100% come again and I will be recommending this hotel to friends and family who need a stay in the city.

This is hands-down the best bed and breakfast—or place of any kind—I’ve ever stayed at in Boston. Possibly ever. I’ve paid more for hotels that offered less comfort, less charm, and exactly zero soul. Let’s start with Bobby and Stephen, who redefine what it means to be “hosts.” They are genuinely warm, wildly helpful, and somehow manage to strike the perfect balance between giving you space and making you feel completely taken care of. They handed us maps filled with thoughtful, actually-good recommendations (not the usual tourist fluff) and backed them up with real conversations and local insight. Every suggestion landed. Thanks to them, we visited the Opera House one night, toured Fenway Park on another day, and ate some of the best dinners of our trip—places we never would’ve found on our own. Their dinner recommendations alone deserve a standing ovation. The location is unreal. You can walk everywhere. Historic streets, cafés, restaurants, parks, iconic Boston spots—everything is right there - and close to the train to venture out further. It’s somehow the most central location in the city while still being peaceful, romantic, and tucked into a neighborhood that feels lived-in and special. The house itself feels like a home you wish you owned. Beautiful, cozy, and elegant without being intimidating. You sleep well. You linger in the morning. You feel calm. It’s romantic in a quiet, grown-up way—not flashy, just deeply comfortable. And the final plot twist: it’s more affordable than a hotel. But better in every possible way. More character, more care, more space, more heart. Hotels should absolutely be concerned. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Book it. You’ll leave already planning your return and wondering why you ever stayed anywhere else.

There is so much detail to everything that makes you know you're somewhere thoughtful and different. We studied the tiles, the prints on the walls and the preservation of the characteristic through our stay. I could sit in the living area and stare at the surroundings for an entire day on its own.
