Good location, 10 min from airport. Unusual parking lot, but readily navigable. Nice staff, especially shuttle drivers. Hotel is well maintained and clean. The room was for up to 2 people, but had only 1 chair and no suitcase racks or places to unpack the baggage. Room was ok but layout was not good. TV was on side wall, so watching from couch or bed meant twisting head and neck, resulting in considerable discomfort. The bed was good, but the pillows were very lumpy and kind of hard. Bathroom was good with very nice, large walk in shower. To start the layout problems, the shampoo/body wash dispensers were mounted where a six footer would have to reach up to use them. (Wife and I are not even close to 6 feet tall.) As a result, I got shampoo in my face. The closet was a problem of a higher order. Despite the room having a chest with 3 large drawers, the 2 nightstands having a total of 4 drawers, and the desk having 3 drawers, the design stuffed 3 more drawers (the metal closet system types) into the closet, which resulted in the bar for hanging up clothes being nearly to the closet ceiling. That prevented my wife from hanging items herself and caused me to aggravate my shoulder while stretching to hang things on that bar. And after being hung, our slacks could not hang down fully without portions crumpling and lying on top of the unnecessary drawers. It was not a very user-friendly arrangement. Too bad. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant hotel and staff.

We had requested an upper floor, quiet room, but were given a second floor room a few feet above the very noisy public bus stop; the buses ran from 4 am to midnight. We had requested an upper floor, quiet room, but were given a second floor room a few feet above the very noisy public bus stop; the buses ran from 4 am to midnight. The room was fine except for the inconveniently placed tv, on the left wall. Be aware that the hotel is in Chelsea, separated from a drawbridge which opens and stays open for at least 20 minutes whenever a ship needs to pass. Leave lots of time for the shuttle to and from the hotel and airport in East Boston.

“Close to BOS airport but do not stay in a suite unless you like traffic noise all night”

The hotel is nice and relatively new. The issue is it is on a busy corner intersection with lots of traffic ALL NIGHT LONG. We booked a 1 Bedroom Suite, 1 King, Sofa bed. The hotel is nice and relatively new. The issue is it is on a busy corner intersection with lots of traffic ALL NIGHT LONG. We booked a 1 Bedroom Suite, 1 King, Sofa bed. Why? because we needed the space for 3 and needed two separate sleeping areas. The pull out sofa bed was one of the best I have seen. Very comfortable. The space was nice. The issue is ALL the SUITES are on the traffic side of the hotel. This means you will hear all kinds of sounds all night long. This included the cool car stereo, the truck location across the street where blowing the truck horn is fun apparently, fire engines, etc. Poor design to not take into place the traffic patterns there. The breakfast was OK. We all know that the eggs are not like going to Denny or IHOP. These looked really unappetizing so it was a hard pass. I don't want to book two rooms but in the future, I may go this way. Also, if you get an upgraded room, you may want to pass!
