Our room was clean and great for the value. We loved the location! McKenzie at the front desk was so helpful and had a big smile on her face every time we walked by.

While the hotel reception and room was clean- there were a few things that should have been repaired without needing to report- a leaking sink, a loose faucet, damaged or missing grout/caulk. Tiniest TV I have seen in a decade. The location was convenient for conference at the University of Minnesota- I was surprised that ALL exterior doors were locked and keycard accessible only-including the hotel lobby 24 hours a day. That along with the large sign that clearly stated to leave NO valuables in your vehicle. We had no issue- just gave me pause.

If you are attending a sporting event at the Gophers Banks stadium, this hotel is the most convenient. I short walk across the street. And the light rail station is just outside the motel property. If you are attending a sporting event at the Gophers Banks stadium, this hotel is the most convenient. I short walk across the street. And the light rail station is just outside the motel property. The staff was very professional and cordial. We had left home at 01:00 flying to Minneapolis, arriving at 10:00 a.m. and were very tired. I asked Tia the desk clerk if we could leave baggage and go for a walk-through downtown, thinking we couldn't check in so early. She said, your room is ready just leave them there. She was so pleasant, and helpful. Now for the $300 cost of the room just for the football game, was outrageous considering the facility is run down, and decrepit, it is your typical inter-city hotel in the hood. The hotel needs to be tore down and a new Hilton should be built. Maybe ad 5 more stories. This location is excellent, but the hotel is at best a 2 star. Breakfast was nothing short of a snack in a small, crowded room. The coffee was good. The eating area was clean. I had reserved a two-queen room, we got a single bed that was full-size, not even a queen, I didn't try to change for fear of having to wait. Security was good, the street people couldn't enter the building. The parking lot was wide open, but I didn't hear or see anything. I have been in LA where arm guards let you through 12-foot-tall gates of barbed wire to park your car.
