Stone Castle Inn is a nice hotel that’s conveniently located just off the middle of the Branson strip, making it easy to get to shows, restaurants, and attractions. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the room amenities were solid for a family stay: microwave, mini fridge, TV, standard coffee pot (not Keurig), hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and enough towels and washcloths for four people. There is a small arcade on site, though some of the games were not working. The hotel also has two indoor pools and two hot tubs (one set in Building 2 and one in Building 3). Unfortunately, we were placed in Building 1, so accessing the pool required walking between buildings. A major disappointment was the pool hours. We specifically chose this hotel because the pool was advertised as being open until midnight. We arrived late (around 10:15 pm) and planned to swim after long days out. Instead, the pool is closing at 10 pm. The posted hours had simply been crossed out and handwritten with the new time, which did not match the website. In Branson, many shows don’t end in time to get back until 10 pm or later, so this change really undercut one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. Breakfast was included and served. It was decent but fairly standard: scrambled eggs (powdered), biscuits and gravy, sausage links, home fries, bagels, waffles, muffins, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, juice, milk, and water. Some items were a bit cool, though the gravy helped warm things up. One thing to note is that the walls, floors, and ceilings are thin—you can hear neighboring rooms and hallway noise fairly easily. Overall, our stay was pleasant and comfortable, but the unexpected pool-hour change was the biggest letdown. If the pool hours are important to your stay, I would strongly recommend confirming them directly with the hotel before booking.

“Awesome room…EXCEPT!”

I only gave it a 3 star because it need some TLC and the breakfast room does remind you of a cafeteria style seating. Good breakfast, though. I only gave it a 3 star because it need some TLC and the breakfast room does remind you of a cafeteria style seating. Good breakfast, though. I have pictures in hopes of coming thru for you and yes I did let the from desk ( spencer ) know about a major problem of water leaks/ flooding. Let me explain- the shower curtain ( incase no pictures) was about 7 inches shorter than what needed to be so, Yes.. water ALL outside of shower, very little towels and didn’t want to use them all on the 1/2 inch standing water. Room has a slant to it, so it goes back towards the toilet and actually gets the next room behind it all wet and make that room tile ( under the carpet ) all loose also. Now I know why it looked so bad with the edging in by the short toilet. The bed is the firm - soft feeling. Firm as meaning it doesn’t sink or have spring feeling, and soft meaning it’s NOT a pillow top soft but has a small softness to it. I’d much rather have pillow top beds but hard to find in travels. Oh the bed did look like it was slanted on the one side but I though…oh well, I need some blood rushing to my head, it was fine though, lol. I had the room that actually had a dining room in the CASTLE corner..that was awesome, loved it. Sat 4 comfortably. Huge room and thought it would be a nice apt. I was concerned on no curtains in the dinning room nor on the closing glass doors to the area with the sun coming in, but, all good. No problem. Type living. Kitchen, fridge,microwave sink. Tv was large with 2 larger seat in front of it. All was good, I would get this room again if they fix the bathroom issues. Some pictures might show another room also, next door ..like cowboy style. Sometimes they only let you write one review. That room had a huge 2 person easily hot tub in it. Ned was same, firm/ soft. Loved the style of the room, great for country honeymoon no doubt! Only bummer there was no views outside to mention.. trash below.
