I booked this hotel using points so I guess ai can’t say whether or not it is worth the money or not. This hotel is in a good location to explore St. Louis or if you are going to a show at the Fox or the Powell theater. Other parts of the city are not that far away. As others mentioned, there is an issue with hearing your neighbors or people in the hall here. I noticed at night that there was a huge gap of light coming through around the door so I’m guessing that may have something to do with it. Bring white noise and it should help. The rooms were clean, but I noticed some signs of aging and rust in the shower that could easily get cleaned. Speaking of the shower- don’t expect good water pressure. I know we were on a higher floor but I know it can be fixed if it was a priority. Most of these were minor issues but certain I will look elsewhere if I find myself in St. Louis again.

The hotel offers something unique compared to a typical “boring” or stay. I booked a room with two queen beds. The room itself was very small but adequate for two people. If you’re traveling with multiple people or staying multiple nights then luggage storage could become a bit challenging. There is a small closet with a full-length mirror, which helps, but space is very limited. I stayed in one of the green themed rooms, and it was beautiful and exactly as described. Lighting in the room wasn’t good, but the bathroom lighting was excellent. The bathroom was a decent size. It is modern and very clean, with a large walk-in shower that felt updated and well maintained. Overall, the entire room was spotless and smelled good. The location was perfect for our visit. The hotel sits directly across the street from The Fabulous Fox Theater, which made the walk back after a show incredibly easy. The neighborhood felt fun, lively, and safe. Parking is onsite and somewhat gated. I had very little interaction with staff, but when I did, they were professional and courteous. We visited the rooftop bar. It’s on the smaller side and was crowded even with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Bar staff was efficient but not necessary friendly. It was cold during our stay so no one was sitting or mingling outside. I would suggest adding outdoor heaters for the winter months. The view is fantastic. You get a great look at city skyline and can even see Arch lit up at night. If you’re looking for a quieter place to sit and socialize, or if there is no room in the actual bar, there’s a beautiful lounge/seating area on the floor below the bar that offers a more relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating. The hotel isn’t a luxury hotel, but it is updated, modernized, and well kept. The art throughout the building is trendy and quirky. The public areas feature rotating exhibits, and I was told all artwork is created by local artists and is available for purchase. One complaint was the lack of soundproofing in the hotel rooms. My room was near the elevator, and I could hear the elevator ding each time it arrived. I could also hear doors opening and closing throughout the floor and clearly hear conversations in the hallway all night. If you are a light sleeper that could be a major problem. Despite being on the 9th floor, there was noticeable street noise too. The rate wasn’t inexpensive, but it was competitive with similar hotels in the area and felt like a decent value overall. Overall, the hotel is a clean, modern, artsy property in a trendy location. While noise could be an issue, the unique atmosphere, rooftop views, and unbeatable proximity to the Fox Theatre made it a good choice for me. If my activities in STL involve being in the arts district I would definitely stay there again.

We chose this hotel in St. Louis for my stepdaughter's wedding party and guests to stay due to its proximity to downtown and to the wedding venue. The hotel is very beautifully decorated and hotel rooms are clean and spacious. The large suite we used as the bridal suite was perfect with enough room for the bridesmaids to get ready, have hair and makeup done, as well as the bride to get dressed. The hotel rooftop bar was great for wedding guests and the wedding party to gather the night before the wedding and the bartenders were great. Planning for the big day at this hotel was easy with the Sales department and Abby, our event coordinator, was great, as was Isaac who also assisted. We did have some issues with the hotel front desk staff and communication, but the hotel did rectify the situation and we were overall pleased with the hotel. If staying in downtown St. Louis again, I would book this hotel again.
