“Overnight because of flight problems.”
Could not have asked for a cleaner room, more polite clerks, etc. Breakfast was only cold cereal, etc. but just fine. Would have liked to take a cup of coffee when I left, but no food was allowed out of the eating area. Nice variety of snacks in the machines. Would be glad to stay there again.

“Pay for a Taxi, shuttle is iffy”
Hotel offers free shuttle from Lambert Airport. Sit outside for 90 minutes after 2 calls to Econolodge for ride. Third call got ride. Shuttle bus does not have hotel name on it. “Basic as can be”
The Econolodge is located next door to the National/Alamo car rental pickup area, which is convenient because you can catch a shuttle from the airport. The hotel has its own shuttle as well. The rooms are very basic, it's not real clean but it you want to go cheap, it's a good way to do it.
