I loved this hotel! It's really pretty inside, even the carpet is not the usual ugly kind in hotels. Its very pretty. The sheets were really soft. D'nae at the front desk was AMAZING! She should train every hotel employee across country. All employees were friendly and nice. My ONLY complaint was the curtains im the room were sheer which didnt feel comfortable having a bed right by it.

“Great room at a great rate ”

We booked this hotel as a stop over on our drive to Denver from Chicago. We mostly picked because they accept dogs. We booked this hotel as a stop over on our drive to Denver from Chicago. We mostly picked because they accept dogs. When we first arrived I was impressed with how nice the front desk clerk was and very accommodating. We happen to show up and they were giving free grilled burgers and hotdogs for dinner which was really nice after driving for eight hours. They made an effort to find us some microwave popcorn and brought it to the room. It’s these little touches that make this place really special. I will stop here again.

Stayed at this property for a couple of nights at the end of July. Checkin was an absolute abomination. Called ahead because I was checking in late and didn't want my room given away. They said they had no reservation. Called back with a reservation number and was told ok they did have a reservation. Got to the hotel and gave them my driver's license. They said they couldn't find my reservation. Gave them the reservation number and it took forever to pull it up. I needed sleep at 2 am and I had to mess with this nonsense. Front desk was not real with it. The hotel is quite the labyrinth or rooms and I had to walk a bunch to find it (not real fun). All elements of the rooms are dated from the furniture to the carpet. Couch was real worn and I refused to sit on it for fear of what I might find. This is another extended stay type place so no ice makers other than the fridge in the room and of course they shut the ice makers off when a guest leaves so there's no ice in it when you arrive. Breakfast looked unappetizing in the morning so I skipped it both days. The buffet/eating area is extremely cramped, so I didn't feel comfortable either around so many people in such a closed space. The second night I stayed there the entire bottom floor of the hotel smelled like marijuana. I don't know how this property has the high rating it does, but if I were staying on my own dime I would not even consider this place.

My comments on cleanliness apply to the outside - rooms and other inside areas are well kept, but: The parking lot is covered with gunk and sand that sticks to your shoes and won’t scrape off - it spreads everywhere! It’s apparently a temporary fix to address the cracks and potholes, but the cure is much worse than the disease. Staff says this can’t be addressed until August, but meanwhile it gums up their vacuums, and floors are covered with the mess. Walking barefoot or with socks in your room is as if you sprinkled pebbles and sand everywhere. Putting a broom to the parking lot and other areas would make a big difference. In addition, cigarette butts are scattered everywhere outside, so arrival looks like a seedy bus stop. The barbeques are covered with grease and crud. C’mon Staybridge, clean up your act! The room was clean as advertised, but furniture is in dire need of replacement – the couch looks like a scratching post. Breakfast was standard Staybridge fare – decent food served by a helpful host. Staff was friendly and attentive. Summary: This is an ok place to sleep, but the outside experience is 3rd world. Management needs to sweep the parking lot, clean the barbeques, and invest in replacement furnishings. I understand that there are plans for changes to take place, but for now would not recommend.
