I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Chris, William, and Zakiyyah at The Grandview Hotel for the exceptional hospitality they have shown my family and me. We are currently in the process of relocating from Nevada to another state, and during this transition we have been staying at The Grandview. Anyone who has ever moved knows how overwhelming it can be. Extended hotel stays often require changing rooms—or even changing properties altogether—which can mean repeatedly packing, unpacking, and moving everything. On top of that, I have continued working throughout the week, making the process even more demanding. After explaining our situation, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us by allowing us to remain in our room for an additional week. That act of kindness lifted a tremendous amount of stress during an already challenging time. Although there were a few minor concerns during our stay, every manager and staff member made sure those concerns were addressed promptly and that my family felt comfortable, cared for, and at ease. Their professionalism, compassion, and willingness to help made all the difference. I am truly grateful for the outstanding customer service we have received at The Grandview Hotel. The beautiful resort is matched only by the wonderful people who work there. Thank you, Chris, William, Zakiyyah, and the management team, for making a difficult transition so much easier. I will gladly recommend The Grandview Hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming, accommodating, and memorable place to stay.

Overall, we had a good stay, and I would consider returning, but there are definitely some areas that need improvement. When we first entered the two-bedroom unit, it appeared clean and was very spacious with a nice layout. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus and made our stay much more convenient. However, we quickly realized the floors had not been properly mopped. After my grandson played around the unit, the bottoms of his feet were completely black. We ended up going to the store to buy Clorox and floor cleaner so we could mop the floors ourselves before we felt comfortable walking around barefoot or in socks. There was also an unpleasant odor coming from the water and drains. I’m not sure whether it was mold in the drains or simply the water itself, but we poured Clorox down both shower drains and even ran a cycle through the dishwasher with Clorox to help eliminate the smell. Thankfully, that seemed to improve the situation. The bathrooms could have used a little more attention as well. We noticed a few hairs in the shower. While we always do a quick cleaning ourselves when we arrive at any hotel or resort, it’s understandable that a cleaner might occasionally miss something. Still, a final inspection before guests arrive would help ensure details like this aren’t overlooked. One disappointment was housekeeping. During our entire seven-day stay, no one came to clean the unit or refresh towels. At many other resorts where we’ve stayed for a week, at least one mid-week housekeeping service is provided, so this was unexpected. The biggest disappointment, however, was the charge for Wi-Fi. I paid full price for our stay—I wasn’t using a timeshare exchange or promotional rate—so I was surprised to find that Wi-Fi required an additional fee. I’ve stayed at many resorts over the years and have never had to pay extra for Wi-Fi. It felt like an unnecessary charge that took away from the overall experience. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay. The unit was spacious, comfortable, and had a great layout. With a little more attention to cleanliness, better housekeeping service, and complimentary Wi-Fi, this resort would provide a much better guest experience. I would stay here again, but if I return and the floors are dirty, I’ll be asking housekeeping to come back and mop them properly before we settle into the unit.
