My family and I found ourselves unexpectedly stranded in Reno for two days after our truck’s motor blew up, and what could have been a stressful, overwhelming situation turned into something manageable—thanks entirely to Barb at the Hampton Inn in Sparks, NV. From the moment we walked in, Barb treated us with genuine kindness, compassion, and a level of care you rarely experience these days. She went absolutely above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and taken care of during a really tough moment for our family. Whether it was helping us navigate our complicated situation, offering thoughtful suggestions, or simply checking in to make sure we were okay, Barb showed unwavering empathy and professionalism. Her warmth made a huge difference during a difficult time, and we cannot thank her enough. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming—but Barb is what truly made our stay exceptional. She is a shining example of what outstanding customer service looks like. If you ever find yourself staying at the Hampton Inn in Sparks, I genuinely hope you have the pleasure of being helped by Barb. She turned a stressful situation into something far easier to handle, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. While Barb made our experience outstanding, I did want to share that our interactions with Eric were noticeably different. Based on our personal experience, we felt that he was less helpful and less patient during an already stressful situation. At a time when we were overwhelmed and looking for guidance, his approach came across as dismissive rather than supportive. I understand that everyone can have off days, but compared to the exceptional service we received from other staff members, our experience with Eric was disappointing. I hope this feedback helps the hotel ensure a more consistent level of customer service for future guests.

“Had a wonderful week celebrating my son’s birthday .. great breakfast ! Only concern was outside Flag was very shredded”

Desk clerk Jane went out of her way and brought us something to eat before the buffet started serving as we had a long flight with no food ! The housekeeping staff was very helpful when I asked for towels or tp. There was some food in corner of elevator when we arrived and was removed on 5th day … more

Desk clerk Jane went out of her way and brought us something to eat before the buffet started serving as we had a long flight with no food ! The housekeeping staff was very helpful when I asked for towels or tp. There was some food in corner of elevator when we arrived and was removed on 5th day .. entire staff was helpful and friendly . Would recommend highly for all !
