“Great place great location”
We had a wonderful stay here…it’s a beautiful house less than a minutes walk from the main street yet very, very quiet. Room was wonderful…very clean and wonderful facilities including coffee making with a fantastic bathroom. Other comments below mention wifi which was just not an issue…it worke… more

“Great location for sightseeing.”
Great location, very spacious room, the bathroom was enormous! Coffee facilities and a fridge. My only complaint was the room was VERY hot even with the heating off, the aircon was so noisy we couldn’t have it on over night. Helpful and friendly staff.

“Lovely inn”
Lovely building, well positioned as very short walk to various restaurants, bars, cafes etc. Also good base for White Mountains. Helpful owner re booking and tourist options whilst there. Big comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Easy parking at side of building.

“Wonky WiFi”
While the room was clean and a decent size, the lack of reliable WiFi was a deal breaker for me. When I talked to the person in reception about it, she said they had strong WiFi and didn’t seem interested.

“Tired old hot room”
Tired old hot room. Loud air conditioning and difficult to ventilate. One window partially opened, the other fell out of the runners! So had to stay shut. No breakfast offering. On the plus side great location, very helpful owners with hiking suggestions and fantastic bakery next door for take-out … more
