The Residence Inn Hanover Lebanon is like the Rock of Gibraltar—steadfast and consistent in quality, cleanliness, and hospitality. We've stayed here since the hotel opened, and it has never let us down. Ideally situated in a quiet office park, the hotel is adjacent to a small, attractive shopping center that features a restaurant, a fabulous grocery store (the Lebanon Co-Op), a pharmacy (Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Pharmacy, not a CVS), and now, even a recently opened Starbucks. It’s conveniently located just a few miles off I-89, about halfway between the highway and downtown Hanover (home of Dartmouth College). Directly across the street from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, the hotel provides easy access to the entire Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont—including Hanover, Norwich (VT), Woodstock, Quechee, and several ski areas such as Dartmouth Skiway, Whaleback, Mount Sunapee, Saskadena Six (formerly Suicide Six), and Killington/Pico. You'll also find an abundance of restaurants in both Hanover and Lebanon. The hotel itself is immaculate and well maintained. The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, and efficient. We always receive a warm welcome—especially from Greg, a consummate Marriott professional who truly stands out. Breakfast at the Residence Inn Hanover Lebanon is the standard Residence Inn offering, now with a new waffle iron that’s a nice touch. The breakfast staff are attentive and efficient, keeping everything well stocked and clean. On this visit, I noticed something I hadn’t seen before: at the end of guest breakfast hours, the hotel serves a hot breakfast to all of its employees. It was wonderful to see the hardworking staff treated with such respect and appreciation. Well-fed, well-treated employees = happy guests. The Fitness Center is spotless and impressively equipped—one of the best I've seen at a Residence Inn. There’s a great selection of cardio machines and resistance equipment, more than enough to satisfy a fitness enthusiast. The rooms are quiet, thoughtfully designed, and make for a very comfortable stay. In short, the Residence Inn Hanover Lebanon is a well-managed hotel and a pleasure to stay at. It consistently delivers what you'd expect from Marriott: a welcoming, clean, safe, and reliable experience.

This hotel is fantastic—easily superior to others in the immediate area. As someone who has stayed here multiple times, often in the spacious two-room suite, I can confidently say it’s a perfect choice when visiting my Dartmouth student. The location is incredibly convenient, with a supermarket right next door. This makes it easy to pick up snacks and wine, which the suite is perfect for enjoying in the evening -comfortable, relaxing, and with all the amenities you’d need to feel at home. The complimentary buffet breakfast in the morning is a bonus, offering a nice variety of options to start the day. Everything about the hotel meets the standards you’d expect from Marriott. My top tip: BOOK EARLY! Rooms in the Dartmouth area fill up quickly, often months in advance of events, so securing your reservation ahead of time is a must. Go BIG GREEN.
