We like Embassy Suites for the indoor balcony design and the plants that typically fill the lobby and atrium. This one did not disappoint in that area. The lobby/atrium/breakfast area was beautiful. Breakfast was very plentiful and very good. They gave us a room on the first floor near an exterior door, which was thoughtful of them since we had our dog with us. The room needed a few minor repairs - cracks and scuffs in the bathroom - but it was clean and comfortable. There was the cutest dog made from towels waiting for us in our room. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here with our soccer team from New York for a tournament. We’ve always loved Embassy Suites because the layout is so convenient for teams and families. The kids enjoy being able to see each other across the balconies and easily find one another, and as parents, we appreciate being able to keep an eye on them while still gathering together in the middle atrium. The lobby, atrium, and bar area are definitely a highlight, and the breakfast each morning is always a big plus. The restaurant food was also pretty good for quick bar-style meals. Unfortunately, where this hotel really falls short is in the guest rooms. They are very dark and in serious need of renovation. There were splatters and stains in multiple places throughout the room - on the walls, curtains, headboards, and furniture - which immediately made the room feel unclean. Our room also had clearly not been vacuumed properly, as there were tortilla chips on the floor along with water bottle caps. The refrigerator was not working and smelled strongly of mildew. When we reported it to the front desk, someone came up only to check why it wasn’t working rather than replacing it as we requested, so we ended up without a fridge for all three days of our stay. One of the bed linens had a large yellowish-brown stain on it that was obvious as soon as we pulled back the covers, which was especially frustrating because it seemed impossible to miss during housekeeping. Although it was replaced, the new blanket had several rips in it. The sink outside the bathroom was plugged and full of water, almost as if it had been started to be cleaned but never finished, and the bathroom sink had small hairs in it along with toothpaste residue on the side. The bedding overall was uncomfortable, one of the pillows was yellowed, and the mattresses were not great. This hotel has the potential to be a really great place to stay because the common areas and setup are so ideal for families and teams. But until the rooms are properly cleaned, maintained, and updated, there are definitely better options.

“Old Hotel Needs Renovations”

Not super old but older hotel. It could really use a renovation. I thought Embassy suites was luxury but this ain’t it. I think they’re aware because they give out 1 free alcohol drink voucher per day. Mediocre at best continental breakfast.
