This was our third year staying at this motel for our vacation. We arrived at noon and. Got pre-checked in, so we could park our car and get free beach badges ( there is a 70.00 deposit for each badge which you can give them cash or put it on your credit card) you get your deposit back when you turn in your badges at the end of your stay. This saves a lot of money since it’s 13.00 to get on the beach per person, per day. We knew our room would not be ready this early so we went to the beach, it is right across the street from the motel, you can be on the beach in like 3 minutes. When checking in Stella took great care of us. She told us she would text us when our room was ready. Stella was super friendly, professional, and always helpful. She is GREAT!! About a hour at the beach, Stella texted and told us our room was ready. It was such a nice day we stayed at the beach till like 3 pm. When we got to our room, it was very clean , cool and comfortable. Our room had a small fridge ( which worked great ) , a microwave, plenty of room for hanging clothes and drawers, nice size TV. We requested a familiy room with a balcony, which was very nice and semi private. balcony was great for morning bloody Mary’s , eating lunch , having a few drinks before heading to the boardwalk ( which is only 2 short blocks from boardwalk) , from our room we could see the water, boardwalk and was fun people watching. They have free coffee and fresh bagels with cream cheese every morning., which saved us money and time going out to breakfast. Nice Touch! They also have a nice pool. Everyone that was staying there was very friendly. This motel checks all our boxes for what we want in a place to stay. Right across the street from the beach, close to boardwalk, clean and comfortable. Stella was just amazing!

We arrived early and pre- checked in around 1 pm. Stella was very friendly and professional and told us she would text us when room was ready.30 minutes later our room was ready. It is a big plus for us to get in room early and then go to beach. We had a family room with a private balcony and we spent a lot of time on the balcony,early morning Bloody Mary’s along with complementary bagels from the hotel, pre- boardwalk nights having beers before going to boardwalk. Hotel is clean and our room was great. We already booked next year with Diane before we checked out.and she is so friendly and accommodating. Next year will be our 3rd year staying here and we are looking forward to it. The hotel is right across the street from the beach which is great, you can be on the beach in 3 minutes. The hotel offers free beach badges with a 70.00 deposit for each badge which you get back when you turn them in. It is also only like a block and a half to the boardwalk, location is great.

The Charlroy is a long time family business and the motel has been around for awhile. I stayed about 3 years ago and just recently stayed in August 2023. I booked early to get several families together. I arrived early and was permitted to park on the premises. That was very thoughtful and kind. The staff, in the office, was very professional. I parked the car and walked the boardwalk and enjoyed the beach. I got a courtesy phone call about 4:00 pm that my room was ready. I checked in with no issues. The Front Desk was very adamant about calling them for any late night parties. The lady at the desk said that we should be able to enjoy ourselves and get some sleep. "If there are any late night disturbances, call me - that's what I get paid for" and she was very kind and helpful. Respectfully and kindly said, yes the venue is dated. It's not a crack-house. It's not a college dorm. It a clean and respectable place that is located next to the beach. The room, with two double beds, was clean and presentable. The walk from the motel to the beach was a quick and easy. The only thing between you and the beach is a street and parking lot. The pool was clean and maintained. The pool area is small, but I'm not a pool person, but the children enjoyed it. Again, the staff was gracious. Maid service asked if we wanted the room cleaned or just fresh towels. Because of our beach travels, all we needed was fresh towels. Again, very polite. The night prior to our departure, I turned in the beach tags because we would be leaving very early in the morning. No problems/no issues.
