Our stay at Maison Métier was truly one of the highlights of our trip to New Orleans! From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond by graciously upgrading us to a King Suite. We honestly felt like royalty! The suite was absolutely stunning, with a huge armoire for all of our clothes, a spacious bathroom featuring both a gorgeous walk-in shower and a freestanding soaking tub, and one of the most comfortable king-size beds I've ever slept in. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was incredible. Walking into our room, they had music playing on a vintage-style radio, which immediately set the mood. There was also a carafe of fresh water waiting for us along with a beautifully decorated New Orleans sugar cookie which was a thoughtful welcome that made us smile. The entire hotel has such a unique charm that we genuinely didn't want to leave. That evening, we ordered room service, and wow! It exceeded every expectation. The steak frites were cooked perfectly, the truffle fries were absolutely addictive, and the salad was enormous (seriously, it could easily feed three or four people). I also ordered a smoothie that, while admittedly a little pricey, was incredibly fresh and delicious. Everything arrived beautifully presented in a charming basket-style tray, making the experience feel even more special. The next morning only got better. Fresh hot coffee was delivered right to our door to help us start the day, and breakfast downstairs was fantastic. We ordered the smoked salmon bagel, beignets, and the fruit parfait, and every single item was delicious. My only small suggestion would be to offer iced coffee, as that's the only thing I found myself wishing for during our stay. One of our favorite surprises was the nightly wine and charcuterie hour from 6–8 p.m., followed by fresh-baked cookies and coffee at 8 p.m. It created such a warm, inviting atmosphere and was a fun way to unwind after exploring the city. Safety was another huge plus. We used the valet service throughout our stay, and every interaction was quick, efficient, and professional. I also loved that a room key was required to enter the hotel, which made us feel especially secure. The location couldn't have been better. Just a short walk to Bourbon Street while still feeling peaceful and tucked away, and only a quick Uber or Lyft ride to Magazine Street. Maison Métier absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. Between the beautiful accommodations, thoughtful amenities, exceptional food, outstanding service, and convenient location, this is easily one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. We already know exactly where we'll be booking the next time we're in New Orleans!
