New hotel in a rundown area. Odd place to build a new hotel, as it is just a year old. The room was nice but very small. Nowhere to put the suitcases. The staff was super nice, very helpful, and accommodating. Downside is, there is only street parking, and if you don't get lucky and find a spot on the side street next to the hotel, you have to park a block away. I would not be comfortable making that walk at night in that neighborhood. So, a mixed bag review.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. If I could give a separate rating for them, I would give them five stars. Additionally, the guestroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I got a good night's sleep. Despite some reviews complaining about noise, I didn't notice any. My husband, our friends, and I were surprised by the "slightly more than continental breakfast." We had a short but pleasant stay despite any complaints I could muster up: -Lack of parking- we found it unusual that a hotel of this size doesn't offer it's guests a lot or parking garage. We managed to find street parking around the corner but then were afraid we might lose our spot if we drove anywhere. -There aren't any valet carts. It's probably because there's only so much you can put in your room anyway. We managed our luggage easily without one, so this is a minor complaint in the scheme of things. -The room is incredibly small. It's very European-ish with the bed and barely room enough to walk around the bed. There isn't really anywhere to put your things, and I had to hoist my suitcase up onto the bed to get into it. There is a mini fridge, which I think is pretty much standard now, and the wall art was nice. -The breakfast area is also small, but it is unattended, so the tables are not wiped down or the area cleaned between guests. -I used a few thousand Wyndam points for our stay and still managed to pay at least 20% more than our friends did and any price in the same month as our stay on the availability calendar so I'm feeling a little ripped off. -I got texted an emailed something to pre check in but had to do everything again once we arrived.
