“Love the hotel and the staff”

It’s my fifth time in this hotel and I come back every time because I love it, and the service is great! The location is perfect. The rooms are big, especially for NYC and the stuff is so helpful (specifically this time Napoleon help me 🙏)

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was spotless by Uden (housekeeper) cozy, and well-kept. I even had a corner room with a stunning city view! The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. Martha, the front desk guest host, and Almaz, the general manager, were particularly outstanding. Martha went above and beyond to ensure that I received the upgraded room I had requested. The hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to nearby events. This was the main reason I chose this hotel. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to NYC and highly recommend it to others. Cheers🍾

Shocking breakfast policy for a hotel at this price level! We stayed at Hilton New York Fashion District for 8 nights, and we specifically chose this hotel because of the breakfast offering and the location. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was honestly shocking. Nowhere during the booking process or in online reviews did we find clear information that the breakfast would be this limited and unusual. We expected a standard Hilton-level breakfast – especially in the U.S. and at this price point, where we were paying over $400 per night during periods like Spring Break. Instead of a buffet, breakfast is à la carte with a very restricted inclusion. You can choose only four items, and effectively there is just one proper savory hot option – “eggs your way.” The rest feels more like light or sweet add-ons rather than a proper breakfast. What is particularly surprising is that even basic items are not included. Orange juice is not part of the breakfast and comes at an extra charge. In fact, the only drinks included are water, coffee, and tea. At this level of pricing, charging extra for something as standard as orange juice is simply not acceptable. It feels completely out of line with what one would expect from a Hilton hotel. To be honest, we have traveled extensively across Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world, and we have never experienced such a limited and underwhelming breakfast offering. It almost gives the impression of a place with shortages rather than a major international hotel brand. That said, we want to be fair: the rooms themselves were very good. The room was clean, the bathroom spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable – we slept very well throughout our stay. Heating worked perfectly, which we appreciated. The hallways and overall condition of the hotel felt well maintained and on a good level. Housekeeping also deserves special recognition – the two ladies who were taking care of our room did an excellent job every day. Everything was consistently clean, and they were genuinely kind and pleasant. We would rate their service 10/10. Overall, while the accommodation itself met or even exceeded expectations, the breakfast was a major disappointment and significantly affected our overall experience.

Hilton New York Fashion District is well located, and overall the stay was solid. The room was clean and roomy enough by NYC standards, which is always a plus. No major complaints on the basics. That said, my main issue was the bottled water situation. As a Gold member, not having reliable access to complimentary water is a miss. The front desk rarely had any available and instead pointed me to the subway across the street to buy some. This feels like an easy fix, either keep better stock, or at least offer a vending machine or some way to purchase it on-site. It’s not about the cost, it’s about the lack of simple solutions. Pro tip: grab water before heading back to the hotel, chances are they won’t have any available.
