As Soon as I walked in I felt Welcome by the front desk manager. Housekeeping supervisor was very helpful made sure my room was fresh and clean. The area wasn’t so bad. Loved the music at the Bar also the free coffee in the morning. And they even have a fridge downstairs that you can store your food & drinks- 1080 IS A HUGE GET FOR THAT NEW YORK EXPERIENCE AND I’M DEFINITELY RETURNING NEXT TIME I’M GOING TO NYC AGAIN

I really loved the cleanliness of the bathroom and the room overall. The location is quite good, with the train station just a few minutes’ walk away, making it easy to get around Brooklyn and into Manhattan. The neighborhood isn’t pretty or fancy, and with the snow it looks a bit run-down, but once you’re inside the hotel you don’t really notice the area. The room isn’t big, but it was very practical for my weekend trip. They don’t offer full breakfast, but they do provide free coffee in the mornings. In the basement there’s a water station, microwave, and small dining area where you can heat food. The room doesn’t have a fridge, but ice is available at all times, with a container provided to take ice up from the basement machine. There’s no closet, but plenty of hooks for hanging clothes. There’s no safe, but the bathroom is spacious and very clean. The towels and sheets are white and smell fresh. The bathroom has dispensers for shampoo, body cream, and body wash, plus a hairdryer. The room includes a smart TV, free internet, and lots of outlets for charging devices. The price was very good, and I would definitely stay here again. Everything was super clean. Regarding noise: you can hear the bar downstairs until around 2 am and also the train that runs in front of the hotel, but it didn’t bother me or affect my sleep at all. I stayed on the second floor. I also have friends who stayed on the sixth floor, and they said the noise up there is very minimal compared to lower floors, so the higher you stay, the quieter it gets. The service from manager Ruhul and front desk agent Lerron was excellent, always smiling and helpful. After check-out you can store your luggage, just like before check-in, which is very convenient. Upon arrival, they give 2 free drink tickets (for adults) for the bar. The bar seems to be part of the hotel: during the day they serve coffee, juices, and drinks, and at night there’s DJ music with a nightclub-style vibe, TVs, and an outdoor seating area behind the bar. There are also many food options very close by. Right next door there’s a 24/7 grocery store where they prepare fresh food to order, sandwiches, and sell drinks including beer. There are also places across the street and many more within walking distance for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, which is very convenient. My stay was Friday to Monday with my husband and our 4-year-old daughter, and for me nothing was bad at all.
