Needed a place to stay for a wedding in Brooklyn NYC. The wedding party hotels were pretty expensive and decided to look around. The Ramada near Flatbush provided that opportunity. Very modern room and modern amenities, continental breakfast and pleasant staff for a great price. No parking on site, plexiglass at the reception desk is a put off, at night time can feel sketchy. Restaurants and coffee shops near by and public transport available. Overall, we would stay again.

“Great Location and Clean!”

This Ramada is a one year old facility. The facility is spotless and rooms are extremely clean. I did find a lack of a luggage rack and had to place suitcase on top of heating unit. This Ramada is a one year old facility. The facility is spotless and rooms are extremely clean. I did find a lack of a luggage rack and had to place suitcase on top of heating unit. Another drawback is that breakfast was stated to be between 6:30-9am. Upon arrival one day, there was no meat. I inquired and was told 15-20 minutes. When sausage patties finally came out, they were cold and not thoroughly heated. On another day at 7:30 there was only a few bits of bacon in tray. Several people inquired of the attendant about meat and was told there was no more until another day. Apparently there are some residents at this hotel residing who come down early and deplete food supplies. I also noticed one individual filling juice bottles from the juice machine. All in all, I found this hotel to be in a great location, clean and priced reasonably. One other drawback is that there is no parking except on the street or a garage elsewhere!

“Good”

The check in was great and very nice . Sunny and parshan were very helpful. Location good. Nice quiet hotel . Serve good breakfast. Rooms are clean but a bit small. The beds are good but smaller than usual especially the queen one. Overall experience is good but can be improved

I booked this hotel because the ones we usually stay at in Sheepshead bay were sold out and we needed to visit family nearby. I figured the hotel seemed new so it couldn’t be too bad. We had a 2 double bed room that was extremely small meaning you had to climb on the bed to access the a/c unit because the bed was literally stuck to the wall on that side and there was no more than 1 foot separating the beds. As well it’s important to note that the beds are double size and not queen, so they’re 6 inches smaller. The beds were comfortable though. The only lighting in the room were the 2 fixtures pictured however they were both on the same switch meaning you could only have both lights on or off, no other lighting was provided. The bathroom had a sliding door that had no handle. The bathroom sink was extremely small and whenever we washed our hands the water went all over the floor. There was not a single shelf or hook in the bathroom to hang your clothes or a towel. One of us used the shower and there was no hot water so needless to say it was not a pleasant experience. In the room the only nightstand was the tiny one in between the beds so there was no room to put away glasses or anything else. Cleaning is sub par and the cleaning lady only came at 4:30 pm. Continental breakfast was included and the choices were decent, the lady who was there was very helpful but note that there were only 4 tables in the breakfast area and most were usually taken. One last thing: the hotel has no parking. All in all I would not willingly stay here again.
