An absolutely exceptional hotel in NYC - the only hotel I will stay at when traveling for work in NYC. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is exceptionally helpful!

Wonderful hotel in a very convenient location! Easy check in and out. Coffee maker in room. Quiet and clean. Nice large bathroom. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning worked well. Can’t wait to go back.

Lovely experience from check in, the stay and check out. I loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. Beautiful fresh flowers, nicely designed rooms with thoughtful and fun touches. Comfortable stay, especially the rain shower. Close proximity to theater a big plus.

“Would not stay at The Chatwal again”
Not a great stay here. I thought The Chatwal would be more of a historic stay or have greater amenities. It was all so-so. Hard to find staff during the stay, the breakfast was super slow, and the hotel is kind of basic. I've had much better Hyatt stays at "lower" rated hotels like the Hyatt Regenc… more
