absolutely loved this hotel! perfect location, clean and really friendly staff. i decided to upgrade to a one-bedroom suite and it was well worth it. enjoyed having 2 bathrooms, the most comfortable bed, a living room and small kitchen area with refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker and microwave. the hotel is an 11 minute walk to the theater district and a 5 minute walk to the subway. they also over concierge parking, which in nyc is almost unheard of. the staff was super nice and there were no lines to check in or check out. we also enjoyed the bar on the 26th floor. my ding of a star was that they are in the middle of renovations, so the elevators weren't always available, or they were super crowded. because of this, you had to factor in time to get in and out of the building. we ended up taking the service elevator a lot because it was less crowded. i would definitely stay here again. i will have a tough time staying anywhere else i loved it here so much. it is a little pricy but if you want a hotel in close proximity to the heart of the city with clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff, this is the place.

One of my girlfriends typically stays here since she has a timeshare. Since my funds are tight this year, the four of us decided to share a room here. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe we booked the room above. It had two full bathrooms so worked for us. The boys slept on the sofa bed and the girls slept in the king bed. The kitchenette came in handy when we wanted to drink, eat, and chill. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. We left our do not disturb on the door more or less the whole time, so housekeeping came by once during our stay to empty the trash, replenish tissues, towels, etc. The hairdryer was in the closet by the front door which I thought was weird. The first day I didn't dry my hair cuz I thought there was no hair dryer. I noticed there was one robe in the closet so they do offer them. I didn't see any slippers tho. I did find the facial tissues lacking as we ran out the first day. Both boxes were basically empty. Luckily we all had some pocket tissues on hand. Convenient location if you want to stay in Midtown. And they let us check in super early which was much appreciated. Not sure how much my gf pays for the timeshare, but we split the cost between the three of us, so about $120 each for three nights per person. Can't beat that price!

Located in 56th Street just south of Central Park very close to Broadway and time square.  Nearest subway is 57th street and Columbus circle is only 8 minutes walk too Lobby is clean and tidy. Check in from 4pm. be mindful there is a $500 security deposit to be pre paid onto credit card when checking in. This is per room. We were made aware in advance of this when booking but it's easy to forget at times We booked junior executive suites and were on the 22nd floor. It was recommended that we should  ask for rooms away from lift as these get a lot of usage. The rooms were clean, well decorated and quite spacious considering we were in the heart of the city… a pleasant surprise! Each had a kitchenette consisting of a coffee machine loaded by pods, fridge, dishwasher, sink and microwave. Sadly there was no hob. Crockery and cutlery were provided. Other amenities in the room included, plenty of hangers and cupboards, 2 x TVs tuned to US TV (not smart), iron plus ironing board, safe and an alarm clock that allowed charging of 2 x USB A. The bed was roomy and comfortable for 2. The bathroom is clean and tidy with a nice large shower. Couches and a small dining table for eating. I would recommend going for room 2219 as you can get some nice views of Central Park. The bar and dining room are situated on floor 26. Expect to pay higher hotel prices for drinks and food. To be honest there's more choice just a stone's throw away from the hotel so probably not worth it for the most part. There are also plenty of deli’s and a well stocked supermarket 5 minute walk where we stocked up on breakfast items. The gym was pretty ok for a hotel gym. The usual cardio equipment was there. Recliner bikes, treadmills, cross trainer , rowing machine, plus there's dumbbells and a combi weight machine in the corner too. Space is a little cramped so try to avoid peak times. A special note about all the staff. They were all so nice and friendly. Had some great chats in the elevator! Tips: The higher the floor the less noisy the roads are… this is New York after all. We found there was more electricity power outlets catering to US type B in the rooms Aim for a room away from the lifts Lifts are in heavy use but you can also use the service elevators just round the side. Avoid the gym at peak times Be prepared to wait for lifts at peak times, especially when checking out Remember the security deposit! Needless to say we had a fantastic stay and both the positioning, service received and our stay at Manhattan Club suites helped make our stay a treasured memory.
